I can't believe he had the gall to say that he thinks it leaked from the Executive Branch... Planting the seed in the media's minds, so that when someone finally tells us in plain English that "Senator Rockefeller's eagerness to share secrets with the New York Times in order to score political points against President Bush got some of our boys killed in Iraq and Afghanistan," he can claim that the story of his misdeeds is being exaggerated as a form of retaliation by the Administration.

The RATs are squirmin' now!
Why? They get away with everything.
As for Jay (the-executive-branch-did-it) Rockefeller, I think he doth protest too much. Regardless, he's another one who's gotten away with HUGE leaks (e.g., revealing black ops plans) in the past. He has nothing to worry about. Slaps on the wrist (if doled out at all) don't hurt that much and certainly are no deterrent to his determined goal of undermining our security.

Anyone see E-Ring last night? It displayed how this type of surveillance works. Really neat.

The differences between this and the Valerie Plame "leaks" are rather stark....

Just for fun, I'll copy this and put it in my calendar. My bet is nothing will come of this - ever. Don't forget about the severe penalties that Sandy Berger suffered when he was caught stealing classified documents. /sarcasm

If nothing else, James Risen is a slam dunk accessory to the crime -- the identity of his source(s) is irrelevant to the fact that Mr. Risen purposely published what he knew to be secret.
His plea bargaining sessions should be fruitful.....

Maybe Risen can ask for a pardon from President Bush?

That's out of the dems playbook. Always point the finger at others. When in fact, they're the ones. Oh how many times have we seen the 'toons' do this very thing.

Anyone see E-Ring last night? It displayed how this type of surveillance works. Really neat. Love the show. How about monitoring the NYT's. GREAT.
Great scene with the LT(yes he was promoted)arguing with the Ambassador of Spain. Loved the threat.

This is one I simply can not understand! The investigation should be on who is breeching National Security by leaking this stuff to the leftist media? Where is Bush? Where are the GOP leaders?
