In a way, this is a blessing. It may wake up the western world as to who and what these people are.

As for Muhammad - fleas be upon him.

A7 was a completely different airplane that took LOTS from the original Crusader in design; both were carrier AC and both offered ease of access (low to the ground) for maintenance, arming, etc based on that design.
Most interesting is that the fighter (F-8 Crusader) was supersonic and had a tilt wing to bring it down to landing attitude while the A7 was subsonic, no tilt, and they were both exceptional at their assigned tasks.
(I think the F-8 ran up the highest kill rate in Vietnam)

Oh yah, just FEEL the love.

Hamas has been emboldened with last week's election and are using the slimmest pretext to launch all-out jihad. I agree with those here who say it's just the beginning, I'm afraid.

The hypocrisy is glaring (yet AGAIN).

1) It is NOT OK for non-Muslims to blame all Muslims for terrorist acts and violence.

2) It is TOTALLY OK for Muslims who scream about #1 above to want to kill and destroy all Danes and all things Danish because of a few cartoons.

Color me not surprised.

I bought a bumper sticker from Cafe Press that says:

Allah Wants You Dead

Good morning.
"Maybe an effort to get Denmark to withdraw its support for Iraq and Afghanistan?"

Almost certainly, and a chance to draw in some more useful idiots.

I believe the Europeans are beginning to understand.

Oh sure, a few side with the muzzies, but overall it seems they are realizing that this is a disgusting reaction for a few cartoons.

They just haven't figured out a way to blame this on ChimpyMcHalliburtonHilter (President Bush)... yet...

Has the U.S. State Dept. defended this yet?

This will have to wait until Monday.

Don't they have any cartoon firemen to put out the fire?

In a way , I'm loving this. It will finally wake up the Europeans and rest of the world to the military action that will have to take place.

Thanks, Moslems.

Oh yes, they have!

Example:

Vinnie From Indy (1000+ posts) Fri Feb-03-06 02:56 PM Response to Original message 11. I am cynical enough to believe that the flap over these comics is merely another BushCo psyops campaign. What better way to amp up the fear, hatred and religious intolerance and violence all over the world than to start Operation Smear The Prophet AND make sure it gets air play?! The Islamic world gets to demonstrate en masse and become even more supsicious of the west and BushCo gets to use it's media mouthpiece to scare the bejeesus out of people by showing those crazy Muslims. I have no dispute with anyone's right to free speech, but I also have the right to guess at the motives.

I agree. There's a sense of calculated escalation to these events. I'm more apprehensive over this than I've been over seemingly bigger issues.

Of course they feel emboldened, the US State Department is on their side, and at least one former US president. The current US President and the US Secretary of State have made innumerable references to the ROP and the respect due it.

Give them an inch, they'll take your arm.
