Never give fire to people without a sense of humor.

Fire has been the bane of civilization. Just think how things would be if we couldn't burn things or blow things up.

(We would all be, what few of us there were, sitting around and peacefully shivering in the dark. :-))

So..we have Iran posturing, threatening to close the straits of Hormuz..we have freedom of speech being protested with violence and attacks on a sovereign nation's embassy(s)..we have Hammas running things in the Palestinian territories. All of this is disturbing and cause for concern.

Above and beyond ALL that is the position Senator Schumer has taken- he says while diplomacy must be given a chance- we will not take the military option off the table with Iran.

This- from Schumer is so uncharacteristic it makes me wonder what the heck is REALLY going on...

Wonder if we should start petitioning the Pentagon to name the Joint Strike Fighter the Crusader II?

Either that or Avenger III, but I like "Crusader II" better.

According to Wikipedia, the French stopped flying the Crusader in '99.

Prediction: The American MSM will not call this a fire bombing.

Still, it's a single seat A/C. Better to let it be the champ gunfighter, than try to go dual role, which always is a compromise.

Since the next generation of fighters, after the F-22, will probably not have a pilot onboard, Crusader will probably retire the trophy.

Might not this be considered an act of war against Denmark, a NATO country? In such a case other NATO countries, including potentially usefully Turkey, would be required to come to the Danish defense. Depending on how the Syrian government acted during and after the attack the point could at least be argued. If we were looking for an excuse to attack Syria here is one. Of course if we ignore this one the Syrians will likely provide similar good excuses in the future.

"It will finally wake up the Europeans and rest of the world to the military action that will have to take place."

Don't count on it. I think they'll just have an uptick in diversity and tolerance studies while they fit their women for burkhas. I do hope I'm wrong.

We're kicking the terrorist's butts on the ground, what else can they do buy fall back to the Vietnam playbook.

What's NOT funny is that it's the same play book that the Democrats use.

The Islamic "culture" is so shockingly inferior and yet thinks it's superior.

That is often the chosen defense mechanism for the inferior, act superior. Doesn't fool any one and just adds arrogance to inferior as a repulsive qualities.

I was sorry to see our State Dept. condemn the cartoons, but anti-semitic cartoons and cartoons making fun of evangelicals seems to be okay. With our OWN people.

Agreed. But still- when I hear Schuboy allow there might be a possibility that military action needs to be taken it alarms me- what does he know? It may have been an off-the-cuff remark I suppose, yet these guys rarely say things without purpose.

"Protestors also threw stones at the building shattering its windows."

What is with the stone-throwing, anyway? Besides the fact that anyone who threw a stone to inflict harm or damage in my neck-of-the-woods would be arrested, if I walked outside right now, I wouldn't be able to find one to throw. What these people need is a decent DPW to pick up and crush the darned things.

A radical suggestion:

Why not have a "accident" at one of the Iranian nuc plants now? Get it over with now. Blame it on bad handling, proof the low grade Islamics can't be trusted with nucs, etc.

You know, this was a planned thing. Orchestrated by, I'm betting, Syria.

No, no, no! It was the wily Karl Rove.
