LISTEN TO ANDREW: WILKOW on WABC

Sunday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. EST

THE NEXT GENERATION OF GREAT TALK RADIO

Andrew Wilkow is the newest and youngest member of the WABC air staff. Yes, he's in his very early 30's, but we don't want to reveal his real age because we don't want to come back and update this bio every year. He does speak a little bit of a different language than your typical WABC talk show host, but we think that's a good thing.

No, I do my food shopping on Sunday Morning. Caught most of the show in the car.
I hate WABC when they have all the sports. Always cutting in, especially on Mark.
Oh well, Catch you tomorrow with Tony!
Enjoy the superbowl.

I'm off to Mass. Take notes tomorrow for me... I have a lot of impartial hearings.

Oh brother! Since WABC has cut off Andrew with sports, I decided to turn on WOR and they have a game on! Geesh!

As for me, tonight I'll either be watching the Puppy Bowl II on the animal planet or a movie on Lifetime. Needless to say, I'm not a football fan!

I didn't know that... the Puppy Bowl? My daughter will love it. I didn't see it advertised when we were watching yesterday. Great.

Wilkow is wrong or half-baked on a lot.

With all that's going on in the world today to even talk about a HS player is a shameful waste of radio time.

But what I object to most strongly about this self-proclaimed next generation...blah blah blah is his non-position on abortion. Twice he's explained that his opposition to abortion is 'scientific' not spiritual or faith based (that in itself is unfortunate and a bit cowardly). He then makes his case that killing a 'fully formed' human being is murder. He goes on to describe partial birth abortion as his argument. Well, how many abortions are in the third tri-mester? What about those in week four? or week eight? Where is your objection to abortion at all times? Even those that are done before the fetus is 'fully formed'?

No, his position on abortion is miles from conservative and much closer to that of a liberal who finally draws the line somewhere.

Little Andy will have to do a whole lot better if he wants to come within the outer reaches of that which he proclaims for himself.

We listen to Andrew Wilkow every day here in Central New York State. He's very good, particularly when he speaks of people who have children before they can afford them and before they have enough savvy to raise them properly. And we particularly love him when he speaks of Saratoga Springs - a lovely community - where a bunch of liberals want to build a low-income housing project that's guaranteed to destroy the community.

I thought Andrew had a very good show today. He condemned the Muslim cartoon rioters, he's against abortion, and he likes Judge Alito. Too bad the show was cut off.

Is Andrew's daily show streamed online?

I've twice heard Andy define his objection to abortion in partial birth only terms. That is nowhere near enough to make the statement that he is against abortion.
