Today censors may be coming for Mohammed cartoons; tomorrow your words and ideas they will silence

WE ARE ALL DANES NOW!

Hindus consider it sacrilegious to eat meat from cows, so when a Danish supermarket ran a sale on beef and veal last fall, Hindus everywhere reacted with outrage. India recalled its ambassador to Copenhagen, and Danish flags were burned in Calcutta, Bombay, and Delhi. A Hindu mob in Sri Lanka severely beat two employees of a Danish-owned firm, and demonstrators in Nepal chanted: ''War on Denmark! Death to Denmark!"In many places, shops selling Dansk china or Lego toys were attacked by rioters, and two Danish embassies were firebombed.

It didn't happen, of course. Hindus may consider it odious to use cows as food, but they do not resort to boycotts, threats, and violence when non-Hindus eat hamburger or steak. They do not demand that everyone abide by the strictures of Hinduism and avoid words and deeds that Hindus might find upsetting. The same is true of Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Mormons: They don't lash out in violence when their religious sensibilities are offended. They certainly don't expect their beliefs to be immune from criticism, mockery, or dissent.

Radical Muslims do.

The current uproar over cartoons of the Muslim prophet Mohammed published in a Danish newspaper illustrates yet again the fascist intolerance that is at the heart of radical Islam. Jyllands-Posten, Denmark's largest daily, commissioned the cartoons to make a point about freedom of speech. It was protesting the climate of intimidation that had made it impossible for a Danish author to find an illustrator for his children's book about Mohammed. Muslims regard any depiction of the prophet as sacrilegious, and no artist would agree to illustrate the book for fear of being harmed by Muslim extremists. Appalled by this self-censorship, Jyllands-Posten invited Danish artists to submit drawings of Mohammed, and published the 12 it received.

That's because Islam is a supremacist theocracratic system of government. Muslims are at the top of the legal order. With Jews and Christians (people of "the book") beneath them in rights and sentencing and everyone else (Hindus, Buddhists, Atheists, wiccan, pagans, $cientologists..) at the bottom of society. The only co-existence with muslims of such a mindset is subservience.

I've always said we should keep an eye on the Hindus. They're a dangerous lot and ...

Oh, the author is just making a point? This didn't happen?

Hmm. Well, still, the Hindus are crafty, watch out.

It is only a matter of time until muslims demand all women wear burkas or else they will be beheaded. That is their one and only solution to anything that offends them and nearly everything offends them.

China and Europe will still pump funds into that beast. End Islamonazism and keep the oil flowing.

Government enforced Political Correctness and Freedom of Speech cannot co-exist. We have to decide which we'd rather have.

The Five Pillars of Islam (revised):

Shahada--There is no Satan except "Allah" and Mohammad is his pig!
Salat--Facing Mecca (the place God would stick the tube if he was going to give the world an enema) bow down five times daily where your camel has defecated in the sand.
Zakat--Some crusaders(Christians) may be called upon by the Bible to give 10 percent of their income to help their church and its missions to the poor, but in the Quran (the book of scum) faithful Mooo-slems only have to give 1/40th or 2-1/2 percent.
Sawm--Fast from sun to sun (no sex either but wonder why so many Mooo-slems are born exactly 9 mos. after Rammadan?)
Hajj--Go to the devil's city and throw rocks at him, get trampled to death while doing it or die on an Egyptian ferry trying to return home.

Heck, they are already here.
In the form of the American newpaper editors that refuse to
publish the cartoons, with the exception of the Philadelphia paper.

I suspect that part of this is to fool as many Americcans into
thinking Islamics are justifiably rioting and raving in the streets...
If the cartoons were widely published in the MSM, Joe SixPack would
say "Heck, those people are dangerous NUTBURGERS...
those cartoons are no reason to riot or threaten another 9-11!"

Like I said in an earlier post. If we give in on this then the next thing will be uncovered women. So ladies get your berkas or other covering out as Islam hates western women and their freedom.

But violence is a favorite tool of the left in this country. When they didn't want republicans to win office, they shot at and broke into our headquarters, they intimidated our voters, they even disabled vans which were to be used to take voters to polls.

When PETA isn't happy, they throw blood on people. Environmentalists burn SUVs, put metal spikes in trees. Other animal groups break into labs or worse bomb them.

When blacks were unhappy with a verdict in 1992, they went on a murderous riot -- and we responded by calling a new trial for them. Violence works.

The fact is that the only reason we don't have widespread violence in our country is that people think they can change things peacefully through democratic elections. When the liberals realise they can't win, they become violent. When the pro-lifers realize that democracy doesn't apply to THEIR beliefs, a few get violent and blow up clinics.

They already censor our words and ideas. Cartoons seem to be the last place you can actually say something that might offend.

And VOA replied:

John speaking:

How can we Freepers show our support - both for the publication of the Mohammed cartoons, and for free speech in general?

Here's what I'd suggest..

We should all run off some copies of the "blasphemous" Mohammed cartoons on our computer printers. Then, armed with them and some Scotch tape, post them in public places for all to see. I'm sure many Americans don't even know what the "furor" is about. But there are Freepers everywhere, and the "message" will get out!

It will send a message to Mohammedans everywhere that here in the USA, we will not be intimidated by them.

And it _will_ "make the news" here.

And stare them back in the face with a bigger weapon than they themselves carry.

They are like Hitler and his Nazis. They do not respect nice people. They do not observe contracts or written documents that they sign. Lying is part of their culture so they "keep their word" at their own whim. They exploit weakness rather than protect it. "Collegiality" is not part of their lexicon.

We will be fighting them soon. It will be World War IV. And it won't be pretty.

I find it hypocritical that the media won't publish these editorial cartoons because they might upset the arab street yet they did publish false reports of military abuses despite requests not to by the State Department BECAUSE such "fake but accurate" news stories were inciting riots, violence, hostility, and terrorism.

World War IV. Just another name for 21st Century Crusades.

Long before WWI and WWII there were campaigns to conquor Europe.

Agreed but this time the battle will be far more bloody, and the death totals may be as much as WWII. Meaning, 20 million worldwide.

Maybe. Only because of the fervor with which Islamonazis will fight and the absolute disregard for civilian targets like women and school children and hospitals.

We didn't have to kill ever German or Nazi to put an end to Nazism. We won the Cold War (WWIII) against the Soviet Union but global communism is still oppressing people around the world and still considered a viable option by the left in American institutions of higher learning.

Let's not make that mistake again. No tolerance for Islamonzism. No support for Islamic theocratic states that supress the rights of non-muslims.

This is exactly correct. If this is tolerated, soon it will be considered bad form to suggest that muslims are involved in any terrorist activities, or that perhaps 9/11 ever happened.

Interesting follow-up:
I just happened to see a bit of Tucker Carlson's show on MSNBC.
He put the heat to Jim O'Shea (sp?) the managing editor of The Chicago Tribune,
saying that because American newspapers are NOT publishing the cartoons,
the readers are not being fully informed of the story...and that
the newspapers are essentially holding back information.
The editor squirmed and squirmed, trying not to be honest and admit
that yes, he's a censor, not a journalist. He also tried to use
the excuse that "it's dangerous" to report this news...but didn't seem to
think that printing
"IT'S TOO DANGEROUS TO REPORT ON CARTOONS ABOUT MUSLIMS"
would tell the readers a LOT about the situation.

Carlson had Rachel Madow (sp?) of Air America on right after that
and this liberal nutburger proceeded to back up the Chicago Tribune
editor on not publishing the cartoons.

Amazing how liberal journalists and Air America folks forget about
that "right to know" mantra whenever they want to.
