What is it that makes Democrats incapable of controlling their hostility, even during funerals?
Especially during funerals.
Rush Limbaugh just played a clip of today’s “Wellstone Funeral moment” from Rev. Joseph Lowry in which he raised the issue of weapons of mass destruction in the Coretta Scott King funeral, then talked about how not enough money is going to the poor.
I know I have seen figures that indicate that Bush has spent more on some programs for the poor than Clinton did, but it wouldn’t matter if he had spent ten times more.
Facts don’t matter.
This is pure theater, folks.
Can you imagine how the media would have reported a Republican using the Reagan funeral to make the point that Democrats were wrong about communism and that they are just as wrong on terrorism?
Fortunately we have a President with more class in his little finger than the entire Democrat party.
Following the Lowry comments, Bush gave him a hug.

I saw a table discussion that included Rangel and a Republican strategist. At one point the Republican strategist turned to Rangel and said, "I don't want to silence you. As long as you're out there expressing your beliefs, we'll keep winning elections." I'm paraphrasing, but that was the substance. In one way, they anger me. Mrs. King's funeral could have been a time to honor her, but instead turned into a bout of political sniping because of comments by Carter and others at the funeral. On the other hand, they apparently learned nothing from the Wellstone funeral debacle, and that bodes well for the Republicans.
Wrongo, dude! Both of my parents had their services done in a Baptist Church in the South. And, dude they were dignified, respectful and somber services.

I'm amazed they let Jimmy Carter out by himself. The only thing that shocked me was they kept Jessie buttoned up. Of course it is no secret that King's family dispises Jessie Jackson, mostly because of the "bloody hand" trick he pulled on Martin when he was shot.

I've been keeping an eye out for that one. She made that ridiculous comment but when I posted a comment to her/he/she/it there was no response. I checked the posting history as well....I smell something that lives under a bridge, or under a DUngeon. lol ;)

Dang it! I can't believe I missed this! This person finally came back to post more bullpucky. Obviously you two, and the Mod. have things under control. I suppose I should have done something yesterday when I responded to her idiotic post. I checked this morning but the poster hadn't responded to my comment.
