Welcome home, and Thank you for your service.
Thank you!
I'd be happy to go but they won't have me any more. Wars always seem to be for young men and now young women.
Although I would gladly trade places with ANY young man or woman in Walter Reed or Bethesda just to make them whole again, I know that it can't happen.
I seriously doubt that I am the only veteran that feels this way and would probably have to get in a LONG line. Please hug him and let him know that there many old veterans that would gladly give their lives so that more could come home and raise families.

Thank you for sharing this.! Please thank your husband for his service. (Yours too!). God Bless.
Thanks!
God bless him for his service and you for a great post.
God bless You all and thank you for your service (the families also serve as you very well know!)
Kathy: A soldier's welcome! :)
No, thank you and your husband and your children. You all made sacrifices for me and my wife and my children, and I'm grateful to you for it.
Thank you for such a heartwarming post.
Thank you all so much.
Please tell him thank you from all of us. God Bless your family. I bet that the boys are glad that Dad is home, (even when he makes them clean their room).
Well done, welcome home!

Please thank your son for his service to this great country. It's so wonderful to see so many fine young men and women serving in the military. I couldn't be more proud.
Not true. In the future if you need to head to the airport again be armed with the following information.
Military Family Member Gate Passes
Family members who want to accompany a military service member to the boarding gate or greet them at the arrival gate may receive passes to enter the secure area of the airport. While the pass provides non-flying family members access to the gate area, they will still have to pass through the security checkpoint.
Interested military family members should contact their air carrier representative at the departure/arrival airport for proper local procedures.
Thanks for your kind words. I'll let him peruse this thread tomorrow when he wakes up (the old body clock is still set 9-1/2 hours ahead).
I'm just tickled pink to send a hearty "WELCOME HOME" and a humble THANK YOU for protecting us to Scott.
Beautiful graphic! Wife of a marine, huh? I guess you've been-there-done-that many a time. This is my second (first was when he went to Iraq in 2003). God bless you and your family's dedication to this country.
Thank you shezza for this wonderful post with the pictures. Thank your brave husband for his service. From the wife of a Vietnam vet, we both thank you and your husband for your sacrifices.
Aren't those burqas horrific? I can't imagine trying to navigate a flight of stairs carrying a basket of laundry. Maybe that's why everyone wears the same clothes every day. =8-O
