Undeniable historical links (Nazism and current Islamic extremism)
The Washington Times ^ | February 9, 2006 | Chuck Morse and Carol Greenwald

The sacred memory of the victims of the Nazi Holocaust must not be victimized by political correctness. The U.S.Holocaust Memorial Museum has done this by avoiding any mention of the Arab or Muslim role in the Holocaust and by ignoring the link between Nazism and current Islamic extremism.

Iran's president announces that the Holocaust never happened while simultaneously announcing that Israel should "be wiped off the map." The vilest anti-Semitic conspiracy theories are promulgated in the Arab press and taught to Arab children as a matter of routine. Anti-Semitic incitement has become a state-sponsored article of faith in much of the Islamic world.

The museum has programs on the role of Christianity in promoting anti-Semitism -- but nothing on Islam. It has programs on current genocidal threats such as Darfur -- but not when the threat is against Jews. It does mention current anti-Semitism in Europe -- but not in the Middle East.

Just as the Nazi threat was not confined to Jews, the Islamofascist threat is not confined to Jews, as demonstrated by the events of September 11, 2001 and by Islamic terrorist bombings in London, Madrid, Bali and Israel.

Nazism held a genuine appeal for the Arab populace, who were attracted to its messages of rejection of democracy, recovery of past military glory and Jew-hating. In 1935, Reza Shah, the ruler of Persia, changed the country's name from Persia to Iran to reflect that they, like the Nazis, were Aryans. A popular Arab song during the war went, "Allah in heaven, Hitler on earth."

The historic Nazi connection to today's Islamic terrorism is Haj Amin al-Husseini, the grand mufti of Jerusalem. He became a Nazi agent after meeting Adolf Eichmann, an architect of the Holocaust, in Palestine in 1937, and with Nazi funds organized...

All forms of extremism tend to lead you down certain similar paths.

Nazi, Commie, Islamist....... it don't matter.

The liberal in our society sees the protection of a democracy and republic as synonymous with fascism. Their belief is that freedom equates to a permissive society with no rules, no expectations, a society that does nothing when if faces a threat.

They are the self proclaimed intellectuals who learned a lot from Chamberlain, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, the latter shutting down a republic in order to create a situation where he can seize power through the chaos he helped produce.

A republic, a democratic society is a relationship between a people and their government. It is something that requires constant attention and a conscious effort to keep alive. Taking a republic for granted is leaving it for the wolves like a Hitler who will dismantle it for his quest for power. Appeasing those who are unwilling to compromise, those who are bent on your destruction accomplishes what Chamberlain did with his statement that he had created “Peace in our time”. Carter, Clinton, and others are perfect examples of politicians who through inaction encouraged and allowed the cancer to grow, whether Communism or AQ.

The notion that democracy and a republic was borne through some miracle is nonsense. It’s blood and tears that paved the way for America to become and remain a republic, a free democratic nation. Those who today see nothing worth fighting for, see no enemy in radical Islam, who think our republic is not threatened, who think we can appease this foe, who think the only right thing to do is to not fight back and focus internally on ourselves are “ignorant fools”. Listen to Carter and we'll end up where he took us once before, into a societal decline.

It IS strange, except that, in terms of amazing historical achievements, Islam is lacking, except for the invention of the number 0.

They borrowed from India a number system that had a zero and rewrote it as their own.

I believe the Arabs can take credit for optics and being the first to make corrective lenses.

You could just GOOGLE " Moroccan Jews King Mohamed V" and you will get tons but for your reference, pls see below:

Sources:
http://www.aish.com/jewishissues/jewishsociety/My_Meeting_with_the_King.asp

http://www.drcowles.ca/art_pg/curator_1.html

With the exception of college region-specific history texts, it is unlikely that most US world history books cover but here are two I can remember
-La Maison d'Iligh
- the Sultan´s Jew

Promise you tons more but just need to get my author names!

Furthermore, did you know?

1) King Hassan II allowed Moroccan Jews who wished to emigrate to Israel after the 1967 war to keep their Moroccan passports.

2)Pres. Bush included these facts in his speech on the WH lawn for the welcoming ceremony for King Mohamed VI of Morocco (June 20, 2000)(http://www.gradewinner.com/p/articles/mi_m2889/is_25_36/ai_64263207)

3) Morocco was the first country to recognize the newly independent USA in 1777. (You might be interested in the letter between Sultan Mohamed III and President Washington; copies should be in the National archives/Library of congress).

The best source: my godmother who is a Moroccan Jew and though now getting on in her years, still remembers the Vichy days where both Jew and Muslim were treated like dirt by the occupiers..
