OK, here we go, Nowhere Man Reporting for duty, sir for the Turin Olympics. Sometimes I see "Torino," my aunt had one of those, a 1973 Ford model, kind of a burnt orange. B-)

That is a good looking man but pin strips and that tie and the shirt does not fit well, does little for him!:)

I comment because the visual is so much in your face!

Is it just me getting jaded, or are the Olympics getting sappier every time? I am a Winter Olympics groupie but just listening to that over the top opening montage made me want to barf.

And do I have to listen to Yoko Ono pleading for peace and see Susan Sarandon carry in the Olympic flag? Just get to the freaking competition and leave the leftover hippies out of it.

I thought Olympic games fall on the same years the US Presidential elections fall. I remember 1976 was in Grenoble (sp?), 1980 was in Lake Placid, 1984 was in Calgary, 1988 was in Sarajevo...1994 was in Lillehammer?, 1996 was in Nogano ? -- that's two years difference!

Can anyone tell me what happened to the system of four years?

For 'Denmark' we got a long talk about some cartoons. Not a word about the country or the athletes. Just more obsession over cartoons!
