Tony Snow is back and better than ever!  Tony's guests and topics on today's Tony Snow Show include:

Tony Saves Your Love Life
On the occasion of Valentine's Day, Tony endeavors to save the love lives of the married and the single alike. Not only is our host a political guru, he's an expert in affairs of the heart as well!

The Terrier Press
Like a small dog with a death grip on a toy, the White House press corps growled and tugged at Scott McLellan regarding the Vice President's accidental shooting of his hunting partner. The results were predictably silly.

Muslim Rage
Muslim author and scholar Irshad Manji gives us further insight into the anger behind the cartoon furor. When will the riots and protests end?

You can find out more information about the line-up, stream Tony's show, find local radio stations as well as other fun stuff off his website.

To call the show and talk to Tony dial: 1.866.408.SNOW

And there's more!

Here's the deal: For those fans who would like to ask for a photo-- please send an email request to Tony at tonysnow@foxnews.com (please note in the subject line of the email "For Tony")  and provide your home mailing (not email) address. Tony will send you a real, actual, signed photo -- not stuff that people have to download. Please pass it on.

By the way, if you miss anything, the show is streamed again immediately after the three hours. Please feel free to add thread narrative about what is aired on the show as a group effort is helpful to get more of the content posted and is much appreciated by those reading the thread later.

If you’d like on or off the Tony Snow Show ping list, please post a request.
All requests happily honored.

"Woof" is used in broadcasting to say "stop," "that's enough" or to mark a specific point in time
-- which is what is done in this case. "Tony's show starts in 3 minutes: WOOF!" Means in 3 minutes from-- NOW!

Truth be told, W has done more for Americans of African descent than any president since Lyndon Johnson, another Texan.

Good Morning all, and Happy Valentine's Day.

This day has a double meaning for me. One year ago, Tony used some funny stuff I dug up on St. Valentine for his radio show. It was a very happy day for me. However, that happy day was soon followed by the terrible news of Tony's cancer and the worry that we might lose this wonderful person so soon after he was coming into his own as a leading Fox star.

Thanks to Tony's positive attitude and perhaps more prayers received by anybody on earth, save perhaps for the Pope, we still have Tony and he is better than ever. [Thank you Lord!]

And meaning number two is this is the day I turn the magical 65! It does not seem possible as I still have the mind of a 21 year old, but my body is starting to catch up with the calendar. As of today, I am taking my Social Security pension, so I would like to thank all of you who are still working for letting the government steal money from your pension to help pay for mine!

In honor of this day I have written the following:

"The violets are blue and the roses are red,
glad when I woke that I wasn't yet dead!"

Thanks to Tony, Shana, Griff and the whole staff and to all of you on Free Republic who have brightened my mornings with humor and repartee! 8)

I am off for coffee; back in a jiff.

So you and the excellent mom of saveliberty have the same birthday. I wonder what the Washington press corps could make out of that????? Congratulations, my friend and many, many more.

RE: the HUNTING SCANDAL/BIRDGATE

THIS IS HYSTERICAL!

The Dems and Libs have become their own version of the Looney Tunes......and now the WHITE HOUSE PRESS CORPS has become the epitome of the supporting cast of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD!

We KNEW they were an angry leftist mob, not a serious collection of news reporters ! or fact finders. Then Dan Rather came along and dropped their pants, exposing the "family jewels" for all to see. They have spent every waking hour digging for a scandal, thinking this will somehow vindicate them, prove them right for the lies, slants, and witch hunts. Somehow- if they can find a scandal of ANY KIND, then we will all owe them a great debt of attitude for opening our eyes.

NOTHING is working though. SO they become more and more rabid. More and more desperate....exposing to all of us what zombies they really are. they have lost all signs of rationality and life.....searching for blood..aimlessly wondering the halls of the past amidst the cobwebs.....

Mornin' Tony -- If you can sneak this in sometime today, GREAT letter from the Mayor of Tall'Afar in Iraq to the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment and their families.

From http://www.mudvillegazette.com/archives/004167.html

In the Name of God the Compassionate and Merciful

To the Courageous Men and Women of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who have changed the city of Tall’ Afar from a ghost town, in which terrorists spread death and destruction, to a secure city flourishing with life.

To the lion-hearts who liberated our city from the grasp of terrorists who were beheading men, women and children in the streets for many months.

To those who spread smiles on the faces of our children, and gave us restored hope, through their personal sacrifice and brave fighting, and gave new life to the city after hopelessness darkened our days, and stole our confidence in our ability to reestablish our city.

Our city was the main base of operations for Abu Mousab Al Zarqawi. The city was completely held hostage in the hands of his henchmen. Our schools, governmental services, businesses and offices were closed. Our streets were silent, and no one dared to walk them. Our people were barricaded in their homes out of fear; death awaited them around every corner. Terrorists occupied and controlled the only hospital in the city. Their savagery reached such a level that they stuffed the corpses of children with explosives and tossed them into the streets in order to kill grieving parents attempting to retrieve the bodies of their young. This was the situation of our city until God prepared and delivered unto them the courageous soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, who liberated this city, ridding it of Zarqawi’s followers after harsh fighting, killing many terrorists, and forcing the remaining butchers to flee the city like rats to the surrounding areas, where the bravery of other 3d ACR soldiers in Sinjar, Rabiah, Zumar and Avgani finally destroyed them.

I have met many soldiers of the 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment; they are not only courageous men and women, but avenging angels sent by The God Himself to fight the evil of terrorism.

The leaders of this Regiment; COL McMaster, COL Armstrong, LTC Hickey, LTC Gibson, and LTC Reilly embody courage, strength, vision and wisdom. Officers and soldiers alike bristle with the confidence and character of knights in a bygone era. The mission they have accomplished, by means of a unique military operation, stands among the finest military feats to date in Operation Iraqi Freedom, and truly deserves to be studied in military science. This military operation was clean, with little collateral damage, despite the ferocity of the enemy. With the skill and precision of surgeons they dealt with the terrorist cancers in the city without causing unnecessary damage.

God bless this brave Regiment; God bless the families who dedicated these brave men and women. From the bottom of our hearts we thank the families. They have given us something we will never forget. To the families of those who have given their holy blood for our land, we all bow to you in reverence and to the souls of your loved ones. Their sacrifice was not in vain. They are not dead, but alive, and their souls hovering around us every second of every minute. They will never be forgotten for giving their precious lives. They have sacrificed that which is most valuable. We see them in the smile of every child, and in every flower growing in this land. Let America, their families, and the world be proud of their sacrifice for humanity and life.

Finally, no matter how much I write or speak about this brave Regiment, I haven’t the words to describe the courage of its officers and soldiers. I pray to God to grant happiness and health to these legendary heroes and their brave families.

NAJIM ABDULLAH ABID AL-JIBOURI
Mayor of Tall ‘Afar, Ninewa, Iraq
