Whittington Back in ICU (FNC Reporting Minor Heart Attack)
WJIM-AM | February 14, 2006 | be-baw

Posted on 02/14/2006 10:09:50 AM PST by be-baw

I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.

Everything is ok now. She could smell the gas leak as soon as she got out of her car. It's shut off now.

I shall! Thanks. I think this is the first time he has EVER voiced a complaint, but this woman was way out of line. I want her reported, but he says he can't do that. Yet...lol.

Frist really needs to be pitted against her -- fair and balanced.

Now don't go south on me. In my mind, that comment WAS
lucid and I expect to be rewarded someday for original thinking.
Take another look at Texas Songwriter's post #751.

What is did was more smarmy (IMHO) by using supositions and what-if's and inuendo's... he doesn't have the guts to say "I"....

The title of the article

Lawrence O'Donnell: Was Cheney Drunk? Lawrence O'Donnell Tue Feb 14, 12:53 PM ET

Then it goes on to say:

The L.A. Times is edging closer to the most likely reason for the 18 hour delay in reporting that the Vice President of the United States shot someone:

"This was a hunting accident," said Gilbert San Miguel, chief deputy of the Kenedy County Sheriff's Office. "There was no alcohol or misconduct."

But that wasn't good enough for O'Donnell, he went on to add his take on what the Sheriff found:

How do we know there was no alcohol? Cheney refused to talk to local authorities until the next day. No point in giving him a breathalyzer then. Every lawyer I've talked to assumes Cheney was too drunk to talk to the cops after the shooting. The next question for the White House should be: Was Cheney drunk?

Then for good measure throws in this final insult at all Republicans who he finds repugnant:

I have never gone hunting with ultra-rich Republicans on a Saturday afternoon, but I have seen them tailgating at Ivy League football games, so it's hard for me to believe that any of their Saturday lunches are alcohol free.

That's funny. Wouldn't you love to be able to get inside their heads? Daisy always, always growls when animals come across the TV screen. Since there is no scent involved it always amazes me...

She saw a picture of Hitler on the TV once, with the sound off, just the picture and she wanted to attack the screen. My DH and I were amazed, her hair stood up on her back and she was really serious... she has never reacted like that before or after.

This is getting bad.

If the guy dies or goes into a long-term coma, it may be a political Chernobyl for the administration

Geez, take a breath and calm down. Turn off the tv and stop listening to the crap they are spewing.

According to the latest press accounts the man is doing fine.

The 78-year-old lawyer who was shot by Vice President Dick Cheney in a hunting accident has some birdshot in or touching his heart and he had "a silent heart attack" Tuesday morning, hospital officials said.

The victim, Harry Whittington, was immediately moved back to the intensive care unit for further treatment, said Peter Banko, the administrator at Christus Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi-Memorial in Texas.

Banko said doctors conducting a regular checkup on Whittington Tuesday morning discovered an irregularity in the heartbeat caused by a pellet, and they performed a cardiac catheterization around 10 a.m. EST. Whittington was in stable condition after treatment and expressed a desire to leave the hospital, but Banko said they would probably keep him for another week to make sure that more birdshot does not move to other vital organs.

I question O'Donnell's sobriety and his sanity. Such a hateful twit.

This is going to backfire on the democrats --- Reid just voiced a likeminded opinion too.

Not doubting you for a moment, but where did you hear that their largest customer base is the over 55 demographic? I am not there yet but close enough to notice, and I don't see it. Maybe it's where we live (rural area). All the over-55's I know, their new toy is the computer, not the tv.

I have a hypothetical scenario. Radical lib New Englander, freewheeling lifestyle, her family had some bucks, supported her dabbling in the arts and expressing herself ..wandered into independent filmmaking, then she played with computers for awhile, probably introduced during that exposure. Then her family probably told her to grow up and she decided to let them pay her way through medical school.

Give her credit .. she made it to a degree from med school and graduated.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HOLY SMOKES, FOLKS!!!! I think my ESPN is really working today .. just as I'm finishing that up, I decided to do a search for Dr. Catherine London .. and look what I just found:
I have no idea what this is, but it gave me a name AND, most importantly, the connection to billions .. and I mean gazillions:
FBI Questioner to Mr. Bellows: Is Mr. Gevisser paying u less money today than Dr. Catherine London, the daughter of Maurice Hank Greenberg, no strike that question. Do u consider yourself simply a sell out or a low scale prostitute?
Answer: I don’t know.
FBI Questioner to Mr. Bellows: Other than these “tTOo” [sic] documents which I understand u prepared that resulted in the $280 billion megalopoly of AIG-Marsh & McLennan-ACE Ltd deciding not to insure SG Searle, the manufacturers of Aspartame, do u have any other documents in your possession or do you know of any other documents that should be required viewing of anyone thinking for a single minute of joining this criminal enterprise?
Answer: Yes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Now, I know about Mo Greenberg, legendary past head of AIG -- one of his multi-million $$$ homes was at the FL resort where I worked .. and, then this:

"Mr. Greenberg grew up in the Catskills, in the town of Swan Lake, N.Y. His father died when he was 5 years old.

In 1942, when he was 17, he joined the United States Army and was part of the force that landed on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, about an hour after the first landing of D-Day.

After the war, he graduated from the University of Miami and earned a law degree from New York Law School in 1950.

The next year he was called to active duty in Korea. He received a Bronze Star medal for meritorious service in Korea.

Mr. Greenberg married the former Corinne Zuckerman, in 1950. They have three sons, Jeffrey, Evan and Scott and a daughter, Cathleen.
