Whittington Back in ICU (FNC Reporting Minor Heart Attack)
WJIM-AM | February 14, 2006 | be-baw

Posted on 02/14/2006 10:09:50 AM PST by be-baw

I just heard from a local radio reporter (during Rush newsbreak at approximately 1:00 p.m) that Whittington "may have taken a turn for the worse," and was put back into intensive care.

I am calm and I thank you for a very lucid and thoughtful post. I concur!

It's sorta like wishing Bill Clinton would have resigned. In a way, I'm glad he didn't. I can't imagine how much further Algore would have taken this country in three years.

I am a staunch conservative, but Al Gore should have been the incumbent President in 2000 running for a full four-year term.

If Clinton had had a shread of decency for himself or for the country, he would have resigned.

And it is possible - plausible -- that 9/11 could have been avoided if Clinton had resigned and we had had a better national security team in place under a Gore presidency.

FOX ought to be ashamed that they used this woman as a source for information on cardiac procedures.

This should be pointed out on FOX News Watch. I don't care if they rip into their own network. It's beyond idiotic to have the same dopey GP on twice in one day, opining about something she has no clue about. Besides the point, she's a fricken leftie moonbat of all things.

I'd like to know what's up with Fox. They're covering the Cheney story like CNN or PMSNBC.

I've been watching Fox exclusively for the story, and I don't have any major complaints with them. It's pretty tough to line up experts on such short notice, but I give them credit for trying.

Frankly, I think it's fair to question why information is being released when it is. A guy got seriously hurt It's unfortunate that VP Cheney hasn't spoken to the matter directly, but I imagine he's pretty shaken about it. His office released a timeline today of where he was and when he was informed of Whittington's status, and a statement conveying the Veep's thoughts and prayers. Too bad he lost his Chief of Staff recently, eh?

I don't see any attempted obfuscation of the facts by the White House; however, the MSM will...I have a hunch they will try to accuse the White House of trying to cover up a serious injury to an old man. They will continue to show their irrational hatred of the Bush Administration...in a perverse way, it will be fun to watch them continue making idiots of themselves... ...but I'm still watching Fox until further notice. You young'uns out there have no idea how much more informative tv news is now than it used to be...

Dow is up 125, so apparently they don't think Mr. Whittington needs Last Rites.

Alright thanks. They were mostly concerned about the ones on the face it seemed to me. Kinda ironic.

Anyway, now would be a good time for Whittington or his family to make a statement denouncing the press as jackals for trying to make hay with his condition.

I agree that Cheney is the best VP we've ever had. And libs fear him more than the pres; that gives the pres. a little bit of protection. Good thoughts about the hospital situation.

Not so serious response: If you wanted a conspiracy theory- A Republican loyalist agrees to be shot to give Vice President Cheney an excuse to resign so President Bush/Karl Rove can pick a new VP for a Presidential run.

How sublimely Rovian!! I'm going to have to wear my super-duper tinfoil. Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes out with a book with just such a theory. Maybe David Gregory...LOL!

?8^)

But, seriously, praying for the man and his family as well as VP Cheney. It was an accident. Everyone hurts when its an accident.

Sounds to me like grounds for a lawsuit if O'Donnell can't back that charge up.

The libtards are saying that since Cheney didn't rush to the police a minute after it happened, he was waiting to sober up.
