The MSM are trying to make "a mountain out of a molehill."

How many days later was it that Nusbuam "discovered" the note in the briefcase that had formerly been empty?

Judging by Blankley v. York the real issue is whether a small Texas paper can accurately inform the American people better than David Gregory.

Chrissy is talking about "drinking". His implication is the Sheriff should have tested immediately for booze.

I loved it at the end of the FOX All-Stars, Brit made a point to mention he was asked how FOX News got an interview with him, and Brit said that Cheney wanted to go to an outlet with the biggest audience! LOL!

Cheney said he had one beer, as did the others in the hunting party about 2 hours before they went hunting.

Bump

What a class man Cheney is.  Can you imagine what Bill Clinton would have said?

Reading it is making me cry. So sad for all involved

Same here. Just reading the comments of all of you that watched is breaking my heart. I don't think I could take it. It's so awful to watch a man like this be torn apart by the media jackals during one of the worst times of his life.

I didn't think I could hate these slimy nasty slugs like Nedra Pickler and David Gregory any more than I do already. But after watching this wonderful man be crucified by these jackals, I can and I do.

Was Shep as obnoxious

Not like other days. Today he was tame and didn't spend a lot of time on subject, altho he did interview Brit.

Shep can really be irritating. My husband won't watch him at all.

I disagree with your assertion that he didn't think of the public relations aspect. That man knows exactly what he's doing at all times.

My statement was that he did not think of the public relations aspects first and foremost. Leaving that off distorts the context of my point.

The Vice President thought first and foremost about Mr. Whittington's physical condition, getting him medcal aid, contacting his wife and children, etc. I'm sure the Vice President also thought of getting word to his own wife and children, because the first report that went up at Yahoo News said the VP was the one who got shot.

Then the VP would have called the President and notified necessary staff.

He spent the rest of Saturday getting to the hospital and getting updates on Mr. Whittington's condition, and helping Mr. Whittington's family in any way he could. He left the task of notifying the media to the ranch owner for reasons he explained in his interview with Brit Hume today.

No human being knows exactly what they are doing at ALL times. When we are involved in a potentially serious accident, we are all subject to shock, a huge spike of adrenalin, and a flood of emotions, all of which can and do affect the clarity of our decision-making.

Ah, yes, another classic Klintoon moment. And yet, I don't recall the howls of the MSM.

I didn't know that Yahoo's first report was that the VP had been the one shot. It underlines Cheney's contention that first reports are often wrong.
