FOX News Media’s Stuart Varney and Dana Perino will co-moderate the second Republican presidential primary debate alongside Univision's Ilia Calderón on Sept. 27 on FOX Business Network. "We are very proud to have Stuart Varney and Dana Perino co-moderating the second debate with Univision to provide Americans with a comprehensive view of the qualifying candidates vying for the Republican nomination for president," FOX News Media President and Executive Editor Jay Wallace said. FOX Business will host the debate from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute in Simi Valley, California.

Embattled television news network CBS is again at the center of controversy after snubbing a White House request to allow a Republican to appear with one of President George W. Bush's greatest adversaries, Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA), on "Face the Nation" on Sunday. Kennedy was allowed to fire away at Bush on Social Security and Iraq without any rebuttal during his appearance on the Sunday morning talk show. I am cracking up watching Brit Hume today. They are discussing Kerry's new position on Iraq and NOT ONE OF THEM can agree on what it is. If savvy political commentators are so confused, what must the electorate be feeling? This is hilarious. And I must say, Mara (NPR token liberal), looks like she has seen a ghost. She is chalk white at the prospect of Kerry trying to defend himself tomorrow night. Maybe she needs some of Kerry's bronzer. Anyone else see this?

On Fox News Sunday, after Tony Snow said that the New York Times refuted the rumor that they were expanding their newspaper to add a daily page for corrections and listing off the number of corrections made this week, he changed the subject to the recent rantings of Baghdad Bob. He turned to Brit Hume and asked him what he makes of the comments of the Minister of Information and Brit said "I think the guy is getting his copy of the New York Times a day late."
