They're fair game for any potshots we take at them, and I sincerely hope our criticisms are lethal to their careers.
While this doesn't surprise me--in fact it fits right in with what I believe to be the case--I did NOT know that they were already circulating papers so they'd be ready to pounce if he had taken the bait. They must think he's as stupid as they are.
A mere CHAPTER? Perhaps a separate category altogether? Hard to say- they encompass so many psychopathologies:)

Agree absolutely. I don't think that vile enough language exists to describe my reaction to Gregory, in particular. It's absolutely visceral. Thank heavens for FR; sometimes I can only take my news through the FR filter.
As idiotic as Letterman is, I never thought he would stoop so low. His show this week has been an abomination. But even worse, it's the unfunniest I have ever seen.
How many times can he expect to get a laugh by having his short fat stooge come out in a hunter's costume and shoot a dummy out of the air?

Same here. And sometimes I can't even deal with the infighting and nastiness on FR.
Maybe the Washington political and media scene has always been this ugly, and they just don't bother to cover it up as they used to. But it is now visibly ugly, to the point of being beyond my endurance sometimes, primarily from the Left. And we only see the tip of the Democrat and liberal media iceberg.
Monday night Letterman said they were drunk while hunting. I stopped watching him after his sick comments about this administration started years ago. I tuned in Monday night because I was curious to hear what he'd say about the incident.
His show will never be on my tv ever again. His comments were scum!

Thanks for that info; a freeper a few days ago posted a link from Wisconsin and in 2004 and there 32 or 34 similar accidents in that state alone.

All I can say is this is really showing how very desperate the liberal Democrats have become.
They're frothing at the mouth now hoping for even the tiniest morsel of a negative news story.....
I honestly believe many of them would be elated if Whittington's health took a turn for the worse.
That is the sickest part of this.
