(2006-02-16) The United Nations Security Council today tabled discussion about how to react to Irans ongoing nuclear weapons development in order to take up debate on what to do about U.S. Vice President Dick Cheneys recently disclosed weapons capabilities.
We dont really know whether Iran is making a bomb, or just making cheap abundant electricity, said an unnamed Security Council spokesman. But we have hard evidence that Dick Cheney is armed and dangerous.
The council will consider a variety of responses, from economic sanctions against Mr. Cheney, to a stringent inspection protocol with all weapons placed under U.N. seal, and 24/7 video monitoring.
Of course, we cannot rule out a military response, the source said. We must keep our options open in dealing with what has quickly become the biggest weapons issue of our time.
LOL!
If it walks like a duck...........
Came up with a great analogy for this non-story.
You and a friend are out golfing. You take a shot and go walking after the ball. Your friend then takes his shot. The ball seems to be getting pretty close to your head and then strikes you right in the temple. The hit knocks you out cold for a brief moment. You are taken to the doctor's office where an X-ray is taken. The doctor sees that a blood clot has formed and puts you in jeopardy of a possible stroke.
Did your friend mean to hit you with the golf ball? Did he set out at the beginning of your golf outing together to cause you harm? And how did your friend hit such a precise shot as to hit you right in the temple, giving you a blot clot and putting you in jeopardy of having a stroke? Or was it all just an ACCIDENT?!
With 30 years of Radiological experience behind me, I find it very odd that a puncture of the thoracic cavity resulted in no pneumo/hemo thorax. First reports were of 1 pellet travelling in his arterial system and lodging in his heart--so they did an angio. #8 shot do not 'travel'. The road would be destroyed by the alleged penetration. DUH! artery=away from heart...vein=to the heart. The MSM reporting of this accident is like the movie 'Fantastic Voyage' from the 60's.
But what do I know after working in Level 1 trauma centers in CAT scan in Detroit on the midnight shift. We only get sprained ankles here :-)
I thought the first report was that he had an episode of afib?
This one was obviously scrappleface just from the headline. The MSM is grateful for the accident anyway.
