Scientists have some remarkable new advice for anyone who is struggling to make a difficult decision: Stop thinking about it.

Ap Dijksterhuis?  Why would I take advice about making decisions from someone who obviously hasn't thought enough about changing his own name to something comprehensible.

I once had an idiot boss who used that method. He prided himself on being able to make decisions on complex matters. He was consistently wrong, but that didn't seem to matter to him - what was important to him was that he was making important decisions, not the (predictably bad) outcome of those decisions.

Good post!

I actually agree with the author to some extent. People shouldn't discount their inuitive abilities. They're there for a reason.
