The thing I can't figure out is what is the advantage in this deal for the US? What benefit is there? An British firm wants to sell. A UAE firm was the highest bidder. Disallowing the highest bidder is sort of like eminent domain. If you wanted to sell your house to the highest bidder, and congress forbade it, you might be a little steamed.
