State Dept. Lifts Ban on HIV –Positive Visas for ‘Gay’ Games      2/23/2006

 

The ‘Gay’ Games, a homosexual mock Olympics, will be held in Chicago July 15-22, 2006. Thanks to the work of Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, (D) and Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky, (D-Illinois), the U.S. State Department has created a special “designated event status” for the event which will allow HIV infected athletes and spectators to enter the country despite a national prohibition. This matter is greatly troubling to Peter LaBarbera, President of the Illinois Family Institute, who notes that ‘gay’ bathhouses and sex parties are already on the entertainment agenda for the event. Makes me want to vomit. Plenty of good, hardworking, disease-free people form Eastern Europe who would love to come here to visit family, and they can't get visas - but we got plenty of visas for HIV-positivie gays. Barf.

No kidding. I'm not sure if it passed, but Rick Santorum put forth a bill that would give Poles the freedom to visit this country without a visa for up to 60 days back in early 05.

If Poland hasn't received visa status (and let's face it, we probably have more in common with them on a social level than any other country on earth--maybe minus Canada), then why the heck are we letting HIV carriers into our country?
