This could go really bad for Zarqawi if the Iraqis realize that he and his merry band of headhunters have the most to gain by causing violence.
terrorists unite...yiptie dooo
Monkeys make a pact and decide to fling shi* together in harmony.
Sadr should be dead.
Another failure.
From the article: The sheikhs condemned "those who excommunicate Muslims" a reference to the "takfireen" or Islamist extremists like Abu Musab al-Zarqawi who justify killing fellow Muslims by declaring them non-Muslims.
It's one of the first signs of Nationalism and it's a positive unless of course you're speaking from the DNC vantage or the Pat Buchanan wing of the Republican party.
a candle Bump
Shhh, here is a dirty little secret, not all Iraqis want us to leave.
The road to peace - if you can call it that in a Muslim land - runs over the graves of Sadr and Zarqawi .
Semper Fi
I suspect Sadr is in the pocket of the Iranians and Iranian agents actually blew up their gilded mud hut. It's all just a timely distraction so the Iranian mullahs can finish their A-bombs. Cartoons riots, Sunni/Shiite riots: don't pay any attention to the mullah behind the curtain.
LOL..the DNC is 'deeply saddened'
You knew we were in for a long slog when Bush refused to kill Al Sadr back in May 2003. Biggest mistake of the conflict.

Exactly!

These sort of things make "strange bedfellows". I saw it first hand when I was in Iran during the revolution.

Yup. Should have taken out OBL when we had a chance in Tora Bora too.
Should have pumped a couple in Saddams head too when they found him.
How many GI deaths has this Al Sadr guy horseshit caused??
Should have been marshal law right after the fall of Baghdad too.
