SESTRIERE, Italy – Unbent, unbowed and ultimately unsuccessful, Bode Miller said in an interview yesterday he is skiing away from these Olympics on his own terms — content without any medals and impressed by the local nightlife.
“I just did it my way. I’m not a martyr, and I’m not a do-gooder. I just want to go out and rock. And man, I rocked here,” Miller said in an exclusive interview with the Associated Press soon after he skidded off the slalom course in his fifth and final race, completing an 0-for-the-Olympics.

I'm going to be watching to see how long the banner on the grocery store in Franconia stays up. I'm guessing there's some of his neighbors who aren't quite as proud of him as they once were (me included).
But then, Franconia is a left-wing, no morals, hippy kind of town so maybe even more of his kind will be drawn there because of this.
I agree. Not everyone can win. But everyone can prepare and give it their all.
This guy did neither.
And no class, no respect, no shame and hopefully no endorsements.

Bode is going to discover that all those people he partied with are going to want to have no part with a loser.

Maybe it's that new lingo, I guess "rock" now means "suck" Kinda like how "bad" used to actually mean "good."
