Yeah, right. The local junior high school civics club has voted to impeach the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Whatever.
To: SRU308
I vote to declare war on the San Francisco Supervisors, invade, and pillage.

A final sortie for the USS Iowa? Turrets to starboard.

The day before Katrina hit I evacuated from St. Bernard Parish to Baton Rouge to stay with relatives. We were without power for a week, and not once did Bush bring us ice, or fuel for our generator. He failed miserably and yes he should be a peach.

OK I vote to cancel SF's membership in the United States.... Let's just quietly unhook the four bridges on the east/north side....
The next earthquake will release Freesco from the continent --- and before they can say "It's Bush's fault"... they will be miles out to sea....
(Actually it's the San Andreas... fault.... methinks)
Nice day...

San Fran is a lovely city to visit (don't call it 'Frisco - they hate that). I visited on vacation in 2004. Stayed right down by the Hyde Street pier, ...um, the Argonaut Hotel, maybe? I'd visit again, but I would never talk politics with the locals!

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Come on back, there's lots to do here! If you want to talk politics, you can always call me! ;>)
(Thanks for the not calling it Frisco plug....as you can see in my tag line, that's my pet peeve!!)

"Highland -- a small town of 50,000 people intolerant homophobes in San Bernardino County -- passed a resolution not to send any officials to San Francisco for state meetings."At least, that's how the SF Board of Stuporvisors would interpret it.

Oh, I intend to visit again someday. I'll probably take the Alcatraz tour again (fascinating place), hang out on a pier and watch the sea lions while eating dungy's....ummmm! And there's Jack's Cannery bar: 84 beers on tap! I was there only four days so I didn't get to sample evey one, but I did my best, lol!. Loved China town, too....walked down Lombard Street, shopped Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39...walked halfway across the Golden gate bridge, etc. Did most of the touristy stuff. Can't wait to go back!
Doesn't Michelle Malkin live there?

Still plenty for you to see and do! Next time you come, let me know, and we can give you suggestions. My husband is a real San Francisco fan, and knows all sorts of little known places and facts! We'll have to see if we can sample some of Jack's 84 for you!
Wish we could claim Michelle Malkin, but I think she lives in DC. At one point she worked in LA, but I never heard of here working or living up here.

The same lunatics voted to accept berthing USS Iowa in San Fnacisco only if they could build a Memorial Bath House to Gay Servicemen aboard.

Any person of moral character would wear this as a badge of proud accomplishment. Well done, Mr. President.

But one thing was for certain -- San Francisco would once again be fodder for conservative talk show hosts. And fodder for Americans. Why doesn't SF just withdraw from the USA? It would solve a lot of problems.
To: SRU308
Oh brother (rolls eyes) . . . this whole tit for tat impeachment crap is annoying as f***.
