Too bad they don't list early voting stats for Webb County; there were under 17,000 such Democrat ballots cast in Bexar County, and if the Webb results come anywhere close to that it probably means that consevative Democrat Congressman Henry Cuellar (the only Democrat to whom I've ever donated money) will get over 50% and forgo a run-off against liberal Democrat Ciro Rodriguez.
Now the fun begins.
Something's already funky in Hidalgo County. That early Democrat turnout is so out of touch with the rest of the state that it screams voter fraud. They match metropolitan Houston in numbers of early voters, and have turned out three times the number of Democrat votes than Harris County did.
Ping and Thanks!

South Texas is known for voter fraud.

Deep South Texas, mostly Democrat.
Delay might be tired too.
Yeah, I saw. The county results haven't been posted for the race, but I would bet that that one precinct that came in is from Bexar County.
Hidalgo has McAllen and a couple of other mid-size cities. It is overwhelmingly Hispanic and all the action will take place in the Democrat primary, but the county gave President Bush a respectable 44.80% in 2004.
Brownsville, mostly. A bunch of other little small towns like Donna.
It's still largely agricultural. Sugar cane and citrus crops.
There's no way it has the turnout of the fourth largest city in America, Houston.
But it did.
Texas ping! Do you want me to stop pinging you to Texas stuff? If so just let me know...
Brownsville is in Cameron County (as is Harlingen). Hidalgo County is just to the west and has McAllen, etc.
Ping to you.
Ack, Brownsville is in Cameron County.
