"East Timor remained largely unreported throughout the 80's and most of the 90's. A Christian land ravaged by Muslims - nobody cared. Untold crimes have been committed in the Chittagong Hill Tracts of Bangladesh against the Chakmas, and yet how often is the conflict reported? - never!," a believer noted in despair.
Over 150 churches and monasteries in Albania have been destroyed or seriously damaged over the last 6 years. Now authorities project to turn the hull of one sanctuary into a nightclub. The Church of Christ the Savior in Pristina has been turned into public toilet
Muslims burn others mosques in sectarian wars. But Muslims also burn Christian churches.
However, not much media attention focuses on the leveling of Christian sanctuaries. After all, its just a "Christian story." However, the latest mosque burnt to the ground gets plenty of newsfeed with narrative and copious photographs.
Why?
While we attempt to answer that needling question, note that in Kosovo Province, scene after scene of heartbreak spikes the believers' hearts as they wake up to cinders for a Christian church. It is unprecedented in that area.
"I have a feeling that we are really going to pay from the nose for turning the cradle of Serbian Orthodoxy into an abomination of desolation," one observed.
These sanctuaries have been scorched, not in time of battle, but five years after the media-saturated conflict. Nuns are left to live in burnt out boxcars. The Christian hallowed places have been sent into oblivion while UN protectorates are on site along with 18,000 NATO militia designated.
Thousands of Kosovo Islamics committed the sacrilege. Three thousands soldiers of the Bundeswehr Germany Army stood by in Prizzen and did nothing to stop the carnage. They did not shield a single sanctuary from destruction. It was, however, their obligation to ward off the fanatics. They did nothing of the sort.
Not one political leader has spoken in defense of the Christians. Not one has castigated the Islamics. Not one has accepted responsibility for this madness.
Mosques, in the meantime, are being constructed to right and left.
* Is this is what is going to happen throughout Europe?
* Swede churches are next on the destruction agenda, according to Islamic sources.
* Will America follow? US President and Congress just welcomed over 7000 Muslims into US citizenship and provided lodging and furniture outside Philadelphia. The Council on America-Islamic Relations continues to be courted by Washington officialdom. President Bush placed the Koran in the White House library for the first time this winter.
* Will Canada succumb? Canadas prior national leadership boasted that Muslim "values" are the same as Canadian "values."
Jihad speeds right along merrily in Albania under the watchful eyes of friendly militia and politicians.
Is this what Albania is to become? Is this its demonic future?
It appears that ethnically cleaning the Albanian State is moving along with post haste. And yet it has been tagged "nation building."
Christ is despised. His cross is hated. The devil is honored. Hell is exalted.

Ping!
I can't help but wonder, did we back the wrong side when Yugoslavia broke up?
Is there anywhere that Muslims live in peace with people of other religions?
Thanks Dennis.

I believe very few christians have taken the time to investigate and read for themselves what exactly these freaks of nature really believe and ascribe to.
What is written inside the Temple Dome in Jerusalem is quite revealing.
Read it here: http://www.islamic-awareness.org/History/Islam/Inscriptions/DoTR.html
Answer to first statement - Yes
Answer to second - No
Oops, reality check - answer to both NO!
And during all of this, we even have people here on Free Republic that support the Muhammedan cleansing of the Orthodox Christian Church in the Former Yugoslavia.
There can no longer be any doubt that the Christian West was played for the biggest fool of the past 100 years.
Is there anywhere that Muslims live in peace with people of other religions?
Only where they are in the minority and fear justice.
Kosovo is not Albania - at least not yet. If Albanians have their way, they expect it to be a part of Greater Albania eventually, along with parts of Macedonia, more of Serbia, parts of Montenegro, and Greece (Epirus & Yiannitsa).
OXI!!!!
"I can't help but wonder, did we back the wrong side when Yugoslavia broke up?"
You're still wondering about that?! Of course we did...and we still are. Thank-you George TROP Bush!
"It's against their religion to live in peace with other religions."

I'm afraid your right!
If they can't be civilized (learning to live with others in peace) then what do we do?
The answer to this question is a resounding ABSOF'NLUTELY!!!!
Terminate, with extreme prejudice.
" Weren't there massive graves where the Serbs were conducting "ethnic cleansing"?"
In reality, no. We were told there were, but they weren't massive by anyone's standards save those of the limp wrists who run Europe and the States. Nothing to the level of what we have found in the Middle East or what happened to the Serbs in WWII.
"Kosov is at the southern end of Serbia isn't. A Serb once told me that the way to look at this situation is as if Mexico wanted Texas back, that Kosov has long been a part of Serbia. Is this accurate?"
I think that's just silly. Texas was never the Mexican homeland nor the center of its religious faith nor are Americans killing Mexicans and torching Roman Catholic churches from one end of the state to the other.
