Actually, the Field Poll is very respected out here in California. The backlash against anti-immigrant sentiment will only grow if that House bill Cardinal Mahony is against gets passed. The City Council in L.A. is looking into the consequences of defying the law too.

Okay... so 26% of registered voters think illegal immigration is favorable. That means that 60-70% (assuming there are a few undecided) think it's unfavorable.
Karl Rove really found a winning political issue, huh?

hmmm...what do you suppose it means when the article says they interviewed "non-voters". This study is worthless. It only interviewed about 500 people and many of them are "non-voters" and as far as we can tell they are probably not even citizens in the first place.

I'm just wondering what the nation's demographics for people under 45 or so are. B/c that's gonna be our demographic as a nation in about 20 to 25 years plus/minus immigration (legal
or illegal), and birth rates amongst the varying subsections.
Somehow I don't think that traditional Americans are gonna have a substantial margin of majority. Utopia for some. We'll see what it does to this nation.

Leave the Illegals alone.
Arrest, convict, fine and incarcerate for a minimum of ten years all those that are hiring illegals.
And yes I mean the rich old couple with their maid too. Wrong is wrong and illegal is illegal.
