"Seriously, even the CNN reporter is wondering why he was dead for hours before he was found. Imagine this happened to Saddam under US control."

Did Dick gregory blame Bush for the delay?

Those numbers are so far off base, the person has no idea what really happened. He/She does not know of the market hoax or the Rajak hoax.....for starters.

"The Serbs are not the victims of some sort of 1984 scenario"

Yes, they are. They are the ONLY ones in the war who've had their people killed by Muslims and Croats DELIBERATELY shown in the news and presented as Muslims killed by then.

This is one example, witnessed by Stella Jatras.

"I almost fell into the trap of believing the media when I saw the horrific images of the Muslim babies on a bus that had been killed by Serb snipers. I would never have known the difference had I not been watching France 2 TV where they showd the funeral of these babies and officiating at the funeral was a Serbian Orthodox priest. However, for American consumption, on CNN, the priest was cropped from the video so that Americans would continue to believe that those were Muslim babies killed by Serbs. I don't like being lied to."

"Muslims killed by then."

Should be "Muslims killed by them."

As unfair as it may be, today's wars are fought as much on 24/7 cable news as they are on the battlefields. The Serbs realized this too late [...]

I rather sympathize with Serbs than with Goebbels, NYT and Stalin's press. If you have concience you should stick with the truth.

The UN's own figures point to 100,000.

Who is your UN? There are more than 100 corrupt regimes in UN. Or maybe Mr. Kofi Annan?

I remember how NYT edited the map by removing an island to put spin on one controversial event.

And the Serbs are the only ones to claim that people killed by their mortars were actually dead bodies taken from the morgue and planted at the impact site to make Serbia look bad.

What should I conclude from that?

I do not understand what you are saying.

The Muslims did do things for propaganda purposes, so Serbs could be right. UN officials and soldiers stationed there DURING the fighting caught Muslims staging attacks. I could quote you UN testimony and books some of them have written about the Muslims staging and provoking attacks.

Still, that was Serbs' own news and sticking up for themselves, whereas the NATO countries, whose people did not live there, nor were in any personal danger - ran propaganda with their bigger and more blanketing outlets ALWAYS for the non-Serbs - DELIBERATELY LYING ABOUT THE SERBS.

You are, in my opinion right on track from what I've read and accumulated from Kosovo. Thought you might be interested in this one...

To prove the Serbs are wrong about the bias you'd have to show the mainstream foreign press caught in deliberately claiming Croat or Muslim victims as Serbs - which you have NO example of, for it didn't happen.

The foreign media was perfectly slanted because they have deliberately or accidently presented Serb victims as being those of the other side killed by Serbs, or even victims of the Croat-Muslim fighting as being killed by Serbs.

Lies against Serbs. No lies against the others.

Here are some others noted by Peter Brock:

- the 1992 BBC filming of an ailing, elderly "Bosnian Muslim prisoner-of-war in a Serb concentration camp" resulted in his later identification by relatives as retired Yugoslav army officer Branko Velec, a Bosnian Serb held in a Muslim detention camp.

- in its January 4, 1993, issue, "Newsweek" published a photo of several bodies with accompanying story that began: "Is there any way to stop Serbian atrocities in Bosnia?" The photo was actually of Serb victims, including one clearly recognizable man wearing a red coat. The photo, with the same man in his red coat is identical to a scene in television footage from Vukovar a year earlier.

- CNN aired reports in March and May 1993 from the scenes of massacres of 14 Muslims and then 10 Muslims who were supposedly killed by Serbs. The victims later turned out to be Serbs. There was no correction.

When foreign news organizations deliberately present an Orthodox Serb funeral as being for Muslims by clipping out the priest, those countries are running propaganda for the Muslims and Croats for them.

I know...There were some other articles using this issue as the base, but I didn't necessarily agree with several other points made concerning our involvement in Iraq, comparing it to Kosovo. I left both alone.

The situation is becoming more and more complicated and about the time one thinks they are starting to understand the situation, you get surprised and wonder if you (third party) really do understand what is going on.

Hopefully, those that see it will hit the site. I don't see a comparison between Kosovo and Iraq, however. There are efforts being made now to connect the two situations.
