I was amazed when Fox News reported that Milosevic was a former "Soviet" leader who had "destroyed Europe." This is ironic on two counts: (1) Even Tito's Yugoslavia had sour relations with the Soviet Union, and (2) rightly or wrongly, the Serbs have traditionally considered themselves to be a bulwark protecting Europe from Islam, i.e. to prevent "camels from drinking out of the Rhine."

Christianne Amanpour and Hilary Rodham Clinton- oh, for good measure throw in the Canadian high poobah, "the unindicted War Criminal"- Louise Arbour.
