I know a gal who is actually doing this. It's become an obsession for her. She was already at the precipice of sanity, this stuff's gonna put her over.
No duck tape? You gotta have duck tape!
Stop eating birds and eggs??
buy lots of sauerkraut. helps to prevent and fight off birdie flu.
It's like Y2K only the lights will stay on.
Beer.
Beer will save us.
Beer and Rock and Roll.
Buzzard tape is Bigger, Stronger....LOL
So you can tape up the ducks and stop them from spreading the flu?
What about duct tape?
it sounds strange..but I already stock up.
I learned it from a depression era grandmother.
Whenever stuff was on sale she bought a little extra of it...cans of soup, pastas, coffee, sugar, etc.
She claimed that as a girl they would load up on stuff in case there was a blizzard and they couldn't get off of the farm. Between their home canned stuff and their store bought, I suspect they could have lived 3 months without going to town...
When she died we went through the old house and realized she had at least a months worth of food supplies tucked away...hehe.
Actually not a bad idea...when non-perishables are on sale..buy a little extra.
And get Duct tape..
It also keeps humans that might have the disease at a safe distance.

Uh-oh.
No sweat. I've got tons of Y2K crap left over.
No, saurkraut doesn't work. It has to be kimchee. Don't you read the Enquierer?
"Stocking up today on at least seven days' worth of essentials such as water, nonperishable food, emergency and medical supplies will help you get through an extended time at home if an outbreak happens."
That's a relief. So if it does go H2H, it'll all be over in one week. Whew!
"Rock and Roll will save us" (and music)
Yes, yes, it will. I plan to watch all episodes of American Idol over and over and over. I shall go insane, but I will be alive.
I've got no problem with that. But this gal can't carry on a conversation without bringing it up. Works in a courthouse and sometimes shows up looking like she was up all night like some of us FReepers. The others in the office are sick of hearing about it.
