Here are my two favorite photos of armed ladies.

Oh, she is quoting the false premise that if you have a gun in the house it will be used against you. Yeah, right.

But not everyone is convinced encouraging women to carry a gun is a good idea. According to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, it's at least 20 times more likely that you'll use your weapon to shoot someone in your home rather than using it to protect yourself from an intruder. They discount the fact that the mere display of a firearm usually sends the bad guy running away like a little baby.
But to the Brady bunch, that doesn't count, because the firearm was not actually discharged.

If you bring a gun into the home (you redneck conservatives), it increases the risk of homicide by three," said Becca Knox of the Brady Campaign. "If you decide (stop trying to think and let the government take care of everything) that's the method of self-defense (Don't defend yourself! That man who is threatening your children with a butcher knife was beaten by Catholic nuns as a child. Just give him your cash and beg forgiveness for your capitalist behavior) you're going to choose, you better be prepared to deal with the consequences (Yeah! Like having an episode of "Law and Order" turn all the facts around, making you the bad guy, and claiming to be "Ripped from the headlines"!)."

Believe me, if my family is threatened by an attacker and I can protect them I can live with it.

You know, you really can get statistics to imply whatever you want.
According to the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, it's at least 20 times more likely that you'll use your weapon to shoot someone in your home rather than using it to protect yourself from an intruder.
The phrase that jumps out at me here is "someone in your home." Perhaps readers are supposed to infer that that means a family member. As worded, it includes uninvited people like burglars.

By God, it better. I don't have guns in my home to *decrease* my chances for justifiable homicide (read "self defense"). LOL! And right on!

With all the talk about women "empowering themselves" funny how the NOW doesn't support women joining the NRA and getting women real power over (male)aggressors,in and out of the home.''
Of course it falls out of their socialistic agenda

What's a "girly gun"? S&W Lady Smith, features a smaller grip. They've made them for years and years. A lot of the polymer gun makers offer pretty pink recievers. Keltec comes to mind.

who is John Blaschke ? "John Blaschke says all parents need to lock up their guns like Fort Knox."
Gee, I have children, and they have pistols and shotguns. Do I still have to lock up my weapons so they can't shoot 'em? Or is Blaschke trying to push the Fort Knox brand of gun safes over Browning safes? LOL

With over 200 million guns in the country, there must be a whole lot of unreported deaths in this nation/s

"What's a "girly gun"?"
Well depending on how you semantically break down the original sentence, this qualifies...
