I like your "Canada Ping" logo of the saluting Mountie.

Thanks Ciexyz. Gmmac made it for me.

(Note my forgiveness does not extend to Jane Fonda and her crowd).

Nor John Kerry and his croud.

However I have no problem with this action.

I have to wonder what kind of discharge John Kerry received.'
Proponderance of evidence says he got a dishonorable discharge in 1971-72 because of his anti-war activities coupled with
meeting and schmoozing with the Vietnam Communists while American military were still dying there.
Of course, Kerry will not release his original discharge status....so, speculation is easy.

"it would be appropriate to strip him of his US citizenship,"

It is extremely difficult to the point of being almost impossible to strip citizenship from someone.....even the worst of criminals.

The gov't won't even accept the renouncing of US citizenship. It just never happens. People do renounce their citizenship, a la Lee Harvey Oswald but the gov't doesn't accept the declaration. That's why he was able to re-enter this country and retain his citizenship.

I will never forgive Jane Fonda.

I will never forgive John F'n Kerry.

I will never forgive this guy.

I am, however, willing to concede that he has probably suffered more in his own mind, living with his cowardice and weak-willed self for over 38 years.

He is a pitiful (although I will never pity him) caricature of a man, with nothing in his memories but a view of the world from over his own shoulder.

He was never a Marine, he will never be a Marine.

For him, Semper Fi was a joke, a joke that he laughed at for 38 years.

Let him stew in his own juices.

He will most likely kill himself, sooner or later, as his cowardice and yellow-bellied puke opinion of himself becomes more and more evident.

Let's not waste further time on the zero, instead, let us remember all those wonderful young men that are in Iraq and Afghanistan, doing their duty, for which they volunteered.

They are the heroes. This guy is one of the zeroes.

(My 10 cents)

1. Someone like that only feels pity for himself. So no, he probably never did go to the wall (My guess).

2. I was not in Vietnam but I too know people who died in combat that were close to me. I was part of OIF 1. I can say that my experience is that I would rather have one less person then carry a shit-bag with. In the end “human trash” such as this is a burden on the organization. He ends up not only being unproductive but COUNTER productive.

3. If you punish someone like this severely, the anti war, the peace nick hippies and all the other riffraff in society quickly rallies around the issue. Example: Abu Gahrib. It has nothing to do with reality anymore, but this story is a rallying point for the self proclaimed experts. Discredit and humiliate him. What can he do about that? Nothing. Expose him for what he is. Show his mug on TV in the papers and magazines. Everyone everywhere knows who he is and what he did. He will live until his death in “shame”. There are people who look at character to this day. If I were to identify him, I’d insure he’d not be employed where I work. You can be against the war, but he broke an oath to his country. His word, his integrity is meaningless.

I believe that there is no added deterrent affect through incarceration. I think that it will not change a flawed character. I see an ugly media issue developing if he’s locked up. So humiliate him, push the scum to the side line, and keep moving forward.

I considered the cynical view, but knew someone else would point it out. :^)

OK, than my gut reaction is the only answer I would consider.
We have become so inept at being Americans, simple solutions seem most appropriate.

Yes he was.

Even that a hole Garwood was let back into the Corps while his fate was decided. The Corps always has a soft spot for repentant sinners.

That's because Billzo has PEYRONIE'S SYNDROME and the military won't let him in!

The usual onset is in middle-aged or elderly males. It may be caused by trauma, but there is also an autosomal dominant form. About ten percent of the patients have Dupuytren's contracture of the hand.

Here's an example:

Now, Billzo Clinton's Hand:

BTW, this really is too much knowledge.

Actually he is. Technically he never ceased being a Marine, which is why the Corps is going to "take care of him."

We didn't draft 17 year old kids so his "younger" brother could not have been drafted

His younger brother could be 18 also.? 10 months apart?
Don't jump the gun so fast.

This is one of the Lib's biggest problems. Today is Today. It's disconnected from all other days. Abortion today will not cause regrets 35 years down the line. Ditto dersertion of America in her need. Ditto Backing the unwholesome gay agenda over the wholesome Boy Scouts. LIVE FOR THE DAY!

The figure of The Mountie has always been an object of fascination for residents south of the border. Must be related to childhood TV.

I think it must be because he/she represents a strong person, there to help.
