A couple of years ago I arrived at MIS early in the moring when it was still pretty cold in the morning. The black security guard asked to see inside my bulky coat. Guess I should have refused and screamed racism.
So, what do you think the chance is of Dateline showing the hundreds of non bigoted contacts these people probably received? Doubt it.. they'll troll for one encounter, possibly even enticing comments, and edit it to make Middle America look like a bunch of bigots..
What would be the reaction if a westerner walked into a mosque? Why don't they film that?
[How about some good 'ol boys with NASCAR hats trolling Berkley?]
Ooooohh! I like that. I would watch that reality show.
WOW - MSM scumbaggery at it's worst.
Sheesh
Once again we are reminded of why Ted Turner wanted to buy NBC.
Thank God he lost zillions on the AOL deal.
Is it a coincidence that they're doing this at the time that the " 'United 93' " movie is coming out?
Doesn't NBC have the NASCAR races the 2nd half of the season? ARe they trying to get out of their contract? This ought to really tick off the NASCAR powers to show them in a not so good light. What are they thinking?
This is hooey. My redneck husband and I went to Chattanooga for the Rock City/Lookout Mountain/Ruby Falls sightseeing and apparently were on the same track through the tours as this group of Muslim (obviously), Arabic speaking men and one young woman. They were nice as pie and noone treated with anything but respect.
There are bigots EVERYWHERE, if you seek them out, you will find them.
Now I won't be able to get the song Jesse's Girl out of my head for a few hours.
Good thought. Or maybe we could get some fully bearded Muslim guy to try to deliver a package to NBC corp offices? Or hang around outside one of these producer's Upper West side apartment building? Those should be fun to watch too.
How about parking a car in a Seattle neighborhood with a, "Support Bush and the Troops" bumper sticker and film it for 24 hours to record how many times it gets keyed.
LOL. Now that's reality TV.
who would-a thunk it?
might be
If they do it around me they will surely get at least a dirty look. I'm suspicious of every single one of them. Flame on.
It was absolutely the most horrible piece of news/entertainment I have ever seen. I've seen better high school video projects.
Oh yeah, the segment ended when they found a while Christian male to pick on. Need I say more.
I wouldn't put it past NBC to engineer some 'bigotry' when they don't find any that is to their liking.
They might find some.. And those muslims will start "disappearing"... vanishing..
And their peaceful intent rejected.. They, Prolly flew back to the old country in a huff..
