A Day Without Illegal Aliens (Time For Americans To Take Back Their Country Alert)
Worldnetdaily.com ^ | 04/06/05 | Joseph Farah

The reaction to my idea for "A Day Without Americans" has been overwhelmingly positive and strong.

I have a feeling, based on my own sense of outrage among dedicated, hard-working, loyal, taxpaying, honest U.S. citizens, that most Americans are fed up with illegal aliens – and their new inclination to demonstrate a sense of entitlement is only making matters worse.

It's one thing to sneak into this country in search of a better way of life.

It's one thing to take up permanent residency and start dropping anchor babies.

It's one thing to take advantage of America's education system, its hospital care, it's Social Security system and its generous welfare system.

It's one thing to be part of a wave of unwanted and unwelcome and unauthorized immigration that is changing the very character of our English-speaking country.

It's one thing to be part of a population shift that has made it easy for drug dealers, criminals and terrorists to hide behind the skirts of ordinary civilians.

It's another thing, though, to act like you are doing your host country a favor by being here.

It's another thing to insult those hosts who have been so patient with you, so tolerant, so accommodating.

It's another thing to fly the American flag upside down and to hoist the Mexican flag above it.

It's another thing entirely when you start saying that you have more rights in this country than do American citizens.

And those have been the messages American citizens have been getting from these massive rallies in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Suffice it to say the illegals and their supporters are doing more to harm their cause – and alienating themselves from mainstream America – than anything the Minutemen have ever done.

Now they are threatening to hold "A Day Without Latinos."

They might be very surprised to find out how many Americans would be delighted to have at least one day without Latinos – especially without the illegal alien variety of Latinos.

In fact, Americans are pretty sick and tired of all groups who label themselves as anything but Americans – all the while insinuating themselves into our lives and our pocketbooks.

I think Americans will be grateful when May 1 comes along and we have a day without illegal aliens. I don't think the American economy will skip a beat. I don't think any Americans will lose a wink of sleep. Do you know of anyone – with the possible exception of Archer Daniels Midland Corp. – who is honestly worried about a day without illegal aliens in America?

I don't know about you, but I could get used to such days. I'd like to sign up for more. I think that will be the attitude of most Americans as May 1 comes along – especially if those illegal aliens are out in the streets calling the rest of us racists, bigots and imperialists, again.

I don't really have a beef with Mexican peasants who try to make a way for their family by escaping the horrific conditions of exploitation and poverty that exist for them south of the border. But I do have a beef with George Bush, the U.S. Congress, the Ford Foundation, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Carnegie Foundation, the Rockefeller Foundation, George Soros, MALDEF, LULAC, La Raza, MEChA and the rest of the pukes trying to override the rule of law and the will of the people in my country.

So, while the activists are running "A Day Without Latinos" up their Mexican flagpole, I'm running my own idea up the U.S. flagpole.

Consider "A Day Without Americans."

I don't know exactly what it means. I don't know exactly when it is. I don't know exactly what we do or don't do. But consider the power.

Maybe it's July 4.

Maybe it's Election Day.

Maybe it's right around the corner on April 15.

All I know is that it's time for real Americans to stand up for freedom, self-government, the Constitution, independence, self-reliance, sovereignty, God and country.

We had better start planning our own day of reckoning.

With their massive protests of flying Mexican flags, flying the U.S flag upside down and demanding the keys to this country, the Open Borders Lobby jumped the shark and in one fell stroke, disconnected themselves from the American mainstream. Americans have had enough and are going to take our country back. I don't know how the politics are going to play out but the Senate Republicans and Democrats are misreading the mood of the country; if they don't stop and desist, they too will meet their jump the shark moment in history. America's own day of reckoning is coming.

He's beginning to look weak to me too. I'm calling his office again tomorrow. They are going to get tired of hearing from me.

Have you gone to the NumbersUSA.com yet? They will let you send free faxes to Congresscritters. Write, call, fax and remind them that a "Day Without Latinos" will come and go, but a day without the rest of us would REALLY leave an impression. I don't generally like political marches, but this time it seems this may be the only way to really get their attention.

April 15th might be a real good choice for such an event!

Iv'e been saying the same thing. After all, what would all of those ILLEGALS do if they couldn't get Americans to wait on them at government offices, schools, etc?--take to the streets, waving mexican flags?

I just posted an article about Mexico's Constitution "Mexico's Glass House" - read it and get even madder.

My newest pet peeve......emails from our friends at the anti-illegal organizations....everyone I have gotten has asked for money to contact my legislator so I can protest the cause.

Hey I give when I can, but when other conservative causes (ie. 2nd amendment rights organizations) send out emails asking for support, they usually include various prepared emails to be sent to legislators, and they will send them for free and then they ask for money. Which is fine, if I feel their cause is worth it I will send the money. I think someone needs to FLOOD both houses and the POTUS with emails (and snail mail) expressing how we feel, and I have yet to find an organization doing this. (and I have no time to do any speerheading of this myself)

I've been psuedo-blogging the Illegal Alien issue, seemingly forever, here:

"Thunder on the Border," click the picture:

In my opinion, that is one element of the Fourth World War we are engaged in.

The other, somewhat interlocking element is this one:

Islam, a Religion of Peace®? ( links, blogs, quips, quotes, aggravating pictures ) is located here- click the Pic, and scroll backwards:

I don't blame the Mexicans as much as I blame our leaders for letting these illegal immigration issues get so far out of control.

How about a "Day Without Washington"?

You are 100% correct on all counts!

What is scary is they are non-citizens given rights of citizens, that is an outrage!

American citizens who demand we not fly the American flag are traitors to this country and should be treated as such.

Tell us what we can do to fight and get this country back and quickly!!

Personally a day without them is not enough, this country is not big enough for them and us!

Hey Mano, sounds like the most sensible conclusion and equally practical solution. Especially after listening to the Senate make one-ho, two-hums and many-haws yesterday.
After a multi-genrational prob approaches a potential flash point, they don't have time before recess...
Hmm, can We, the Employers, dock their pay???

One think I plan to do is make sure any service provider I use in the future is "Mexican/Latino free." No more painters or lawn service providers who use such labor. If we all decided to boycott those that employ these illegals, even if it costs a bit more out of our pockets (we're paying the subsidy indirectly in any case), maybe some of the illegals would get the hell out of our country. Two can play the boycott game. And no Republican will get my vote if they support weak-knee immigration reform. Lock down the borders--then we can talk about the rest of the package.

It seems to me that the congresscritters are more worried about their next election than they are about stopping illegal immigration! How different would things be if term limits were passed back in the nineties when it was a hot topic?

I heard a story about an American contractor who waited until payday and then called the INS to his own job site. They hauled off the illegals before he paid them. I thought that was pretty awful at the time but, after recent events, it doesn't seem to bother me anymore.

I don't think "A Day without Illegal Aliens" is that effective. Perhaps we should have "A Year without Illegal Aliens", or perhaps, "A Decade without Illegal Aliens"
