When the Minutemen set up shop at the Arizona border last year to call attention to the illegal alien loophole in US Homeland Security, President Bush foolishly chided these brave patriots by calling them vigilantes. Although chagrined at being deserted by the man who has the constitutional responsibility and authority to defend our borders, the Minutemen dug in their heels and persisted. And persisted.
Their Yankee determination to do the right thing was rewarded when President Bush finally sent additional border patrol agents to Arizona. Even the Mexican government was motivated to pay greater attention, at least temporarily, because of the due diligence of heroic Minutemen.
Before the Minuteman took their courageous stand, open border advocates and anti-American liberals insisted it was “impossible” to stop illegal immigration. Best to just accept reality, learn Spanish, and switch to rice and beans as food stables, according to the leftists and Hispanic racists.
Thank God, the Minutemen PROVED illegal aliens CAN be stopped, thereby delivering a great victory on behalf of all American citizens.

If they dare to vote illegally, what's to stop them from voting multiple times on election day? The invaders are more motivated to vote than citizens are and the guy least likely to dare stop them is sitting in the White House.

The passive legal Americans are not voicing an opinion that this traitorous government is hearing. If enough protest is made by legal Americans in a legal way, maybe voices will be heard. To do our parts we need to
1 Turn in any contractor that is hiring illegals to ICE
2 Turn in any unlicensed illegals to your state contractor board
3 Takes pictures of loitering illegals and turn in the pics with address to ICE
4 Turn in license plates of any suspected illegal driving illegally to your DMV
5 When issued any kind of driving ticket or other violation refuse to recognize the penalty due to the fact that illegals are given a pass on violating the law.
6 If you are hassled by the IRS make it clear that Illegals skip around taxes so why should legals pay...plus complain that you don't want tax dollars supporting illegals
If enough Americans do this the traitors will hear your voice.

I don't think it's all that bad, what I see is pure democratic desperation at adding to their 'base'
as with every passing election over the last 20 + years,
the democratic party is well outside American mainstream.
They've not won a national election since Carter (Clinton is not a majority elected president ...Ross Perot).
They expected John (french looking) Kerry to win easily, as was predicted by the MSM... lost by 3.5 million voted.

IIRC, V. Fox and other Mexicans were calling the minutemen, vigilantes and in a most derogoratory way. Bush never took up for law abiding citizens and to this day doesn't think it necessary. Agree with you, Bush referred to the minutemen as vigilantes.

Oh, they did. Right here on Free Republic. Posting about the Minuteman Project right up until the April 1 start date got a number of people banned. The Minuteman Project was attacked right here by people who used the President's statement against us. I am the one who started, carefully, posting about the Minuteman Project activities after the operation started and somehow I got away with it. A few others joined in, but they had to walk a thin line, because the President, the congressional Republicans, and the RNC were very negative or even openly hostile to the Minuteman Project.
