Welcome back all concerned!

Just to clarify, this is a thread discussing both what is happening LIVE across the country as Illegal Immigrants protest their Illegality, and what to do about it. Let's discuss VIABLE options as to what to do about this issue. I have a sneaking suspicion that this "Protest" of American LAW is going to be pretty big. I predict that there is going to be a LOT of pandering to these 11 million or so criminals by our Politicians. I sincerely hope not. To any and all Politicos of all parties, WE the PEOPLE are watching you, and LISTENING to what you are going to say today. 289 million of us LEGAL citizens will see with pristine clarity just WHO in the Political arena is looking out for US, the people who VOTED you into Office in the first place. The biggest question on my mind and perhaps one or two others is: Are you going to protect and serve as you promised and swore to up-hold the Constitution or not? Are you going to up-hold out law or are you going to support the Illegal’s? 298 million to 11 million. You do the math. Let’s roll.

The "slavery" comparison is a joke. Can you just see them paying the coyote slave ship captain for the privilege to come to American and work hard? The "civil rights" thing is also silly. One of the local TV stations said that Phoenix officials estimated somewhere around 20,000 marchers, not 100,000 as predicted by the organizers.

It's a show of force and solidarity amongst the millions of illegal aliens in this country who have fled from their own constitution and country, figuring it would be easier to change things in the U.S. to their advantage than it would be to change things in their own country.

The plain truth is they are cowards for not marching on their own government to change their own political, social and economical environment to their advantage.

And we are cowards for letting them mess with our country.

On C-SPAN now: "Today we march, tomorrow we vote!" followed by Doris DePaz, event organizer. Then Jaime Contreras, National Capitol Immigration Coalition.

And now Ted Kennedy takes the stage speaking terribly accented Spanish followed by:

"I look across this stage and see the future of America. Nation of immigrants. We stand together as brothers and sisters. Old Americans, new Americans, future Americans - all joined together for the common good.

"Do you love your family, love your community - do you love America? You are what this debate is about. It's about good people who come to America to work...to support their families...It will determine who can attain citizenship, contribute to our values...& economic growth.

"Some in Congress wish to turn you away...they believe immigrants are criminals...they say you should report to deport - I say you should report to become citizens. (MLK cite - most of the crowd never heard of him!)

"We stand for the future/families/faith...are you with me? John McCain (big USA chant) and I have a plan that insures your place in America's future. Are you with me?" (crowd cheers) "We will never give up!" (crowd chants Kennedy, Kennedy, Kennedy...)

The evil one then quits the stage.

Teenage girl leads the Pledge of Allegiance which half the crowd garbles. More Spanish language rallying, then Catholic Cardinal Theodore McCarrick Spanish-language statement, then in English compares this to the Blacks' Civil Rights movement... I can't take anymore.

"We are America. We are workers. We are not criminals."

"Full Rights for All Immigrants - ANSWER Coalition" (There they are).

Some hispanic speaker has them whipped into a frenzy. They are shouting over and over, "Today we march, tomorrow we vote".

I hope this makes it clear to everyone that the existing illegals can never be given amnesty or voting rights.
