An examination of the company's payroll of 5,800 employees found that just over half of them had Social Security numbers that were either invalid, belong to a dead person or did not match up with names on file, investigators said. Wonder how they registered to vote?
Illegal "immigrants" is an oxymoron.

Illegal "immigrants" is an oxymoron.
Absolutely. "Immigrant" suggests someone who wants to legally come to this country, assimilate to the culture, and become loyal Americans. Applying the term to criminal invaders devalues it.

And yet STILL they are cheaper than American workers? I just want to know HOW MANY LAWS ARE BEING BROKEN?

Think I will call in a few tips to them tomorrow. Then set back and see what happens. Know of 60 that got fired when new management took over this one business because they all had the same SS number. Then they all went to work for different company.

Oh wow let the games begin. This is nothing more than a dog and pony show. Seems the ones that were arrested in Houston were back on the street in less than 5 hours. This is nothing more than window dressing for the masses. Looks like the administration has gotten a message and figure a couple of high profile stories like this will take the pressure off.

The apprehension on Wednesday of more than 1,100 illegal
Soooo.... if this is done in each state, once a week for a year, that would be 1000 times 50 = 50,000 times 50 = 2,500,000 a year more or less. Of course you got to have a controlled border or they will come right back.

Company supervisors knowingly hired illegal immigrants, provided them with housing and transportation to and from work, and even reimbursed one undercover agent for the cost of obtaining fraudulent identity documents, Homeland Security Department officials said. If this isn't a RICO case, nothing is! Let's hope Gonzales' Justice Department uses every tool in the RICO law including confiscating every last cent and asset these criminals own. Let's see how the corporate big wigs are treated. That will tell how seriously the administration takes the rule of law.

To regain economic and homeland security the US government must free the markets, lower taxes and regulations on domestic businesses, and send the illegals packing.

The investigation started in February 2005, when agents received a tip that IFCO workers in Guilderland, N.Y., were seen ripping up federal tax-related employment verification forms, and that an assistant manager present explained that the workers were illegal immigrants who did not intend to file tax returns.but but but all the liberals and Rinos say illegals are not criminals and pay their taxes...how can this be?

The cynics are saying this is being done because it is an election year. I say so what? It is getting done now. I welcome it because every little bit helps spread the "chilling effect".

apprehended 1,187 illegal immigrants .....
At that rate, even if no more illegals come to the US, it will only take a little over 200 years to round up the rest of the 12,000,000 illegals. :-)

Rope-a-dope ploy to make us think they're doing something. Elections are coming up so they have been dragged (kicking and screaming) into throwing us a bone. Walking papers for several of the turn-coat rinos, and democRATS in November will be a nice message to send.

Was the corporate leadership given the televised perp-walk treatment on the nightly news? If so, I missed it.
Were any of these corporate management types publicly identified by name, photograph and job title within the corporation? If so, I missed it.
Arrests? * snort * Arrests don't mean a thing. Convictions, resulting in sentences with significant unsuspended terms of imprisonment along with large personal fines, all duly publicized, might mean something.
Significant penalties actually levied against the corporate entity, and actually collected by the government, all duly publicized, might mean something.
Anything less than this, and on a large and continuing scale, is eyewash. And if we are stupid enough for fall for the little charade being put on at the moment, we deserve everything we get.
