People must have heard his great speech in Irvine CA.and the never ending insult slap-in-the-face line "jobs Americans just won't do"

The survey showed that 60 percent of Americans disapprove of the way Bush is handling his job. Correction: 60 percent of CNN devotees trust the bull the MSM slings.
To: jmc1969
Anyone notice that everytime he says "comprehensive immigration reform" and "jobs that americans won't do" it drops another point?
Keep repeating that mantra now Mr. President, apparently you are one of the few left that can still stand to hear it.

Oh well, the MSM has once again proved themselves to be a bunch of liars so why rely on their poll.

Illegal immigration is at an all time high (Hmmm, coincidence?)

He could visit conservative strongholds being overrun by illegals and tell his base how he is all for thinly-veiled amnesty. That should bump his polls up. Not.

The mud-slinging is starting early this year.
Keep it up. There will be nothing left for an October surprise and Repubs will sweep Congress.

I was watching his California speech today on Fox, thinking what a fine speech he was giving, and then he repeated that dog-eared statement about the terrorists "hijacking a great religion."
That is the equivalent of saying that the Evangelicals or the Catholics or the Baptists have hijacked Christianity.
The Wahhabis and Salafists and Qutbists and Twelvers (and other hard core Shia) have not hijacked a religion...they are a solid part of it.
I understand that he must pick his words carefully so as not to divide his constituents, but if he honestly believes islam has been hijacked...he is a minority of one (well, two if you count Condi).

So what's your thoughts on this that prompted it be posted?
To: jmc1969
It's going to get even lower when his latest Illegal Immigration remarks reach the general public. (Where the Democrats failed, the Republicans succeeded.)

Does this mean Bush's chances for re-election have slipped?
Opinion polls come and go and ebb and flow, but we actually elect a new President only once every four years.

Rasmussen says he's at 45%. One can pick whatever poll they want.

Everything is magnified because Middle East policies have not produced better, for oil, for Israel, or for our Terror Alert Flag. The quicker Iraq can stand up and our troops stand down, the more success it will signify.
