You're wrong, of course. Those European countries are sending whatever outflux they might have (which isn't much because they, too, have the demographic problem) to the incentives of the EU.
We have to have more working age workers. There are not enough working age Americans. You can't get them from Europe because the EU has the same problem.
So where are you going to get them?
Feel free to post the inter-European immigration statistics.
So where are you going to get them?
So what's your point? Are you saying that we have to accept that we're going to replace 76 million baby boomers with immigrants soley from Mexico, Central and South America, India and China?
No, the taxpayers funded them, so that your illegal employer supporters can have greater profit subsodized by us.
Was that uncivil of me?

Indonesia, too, perhaps -- if they can fund the trip.
The bottom line is there are not enough Americans of working age to do the work that has to be done. It's not a matter of "jobs Americans won't do." It's . . . there are no Americans to do the work.
A lot more retirees are about to leave the workplace. If arranging increased immigration from Mex, Central and South America is rejected as a solution . . . then there is no other solution.
The EU faces the same issues. West Germany was flooded. So was Austria. There was upheaval for a time but now demographics are asserting themselves there too. They have to have workers. It is cheaper to have workers drive in and do work than try to fund them an airplane ticket coming from somewhere else.
This is probably why the EU isn't funding Mexican workers to fly over there and do what they will wind up doing in the US.
What needs to be done is divide the number of immigrants we are going to allow by four, and give them out equally among the continents of Africa, Asia, Europe, and the combined Americas. Any year when a continent didnt have enough people apply for the immigration visas allotted; those visas would be divided equally between the continents that have more people applying than visas available.
Everyone would come as a legal alien and pass a test in English and Civics before they could apply to become immigrants. After they are immigrants for 5 years they can apply to become citizens, IF, they havent committed any crimes, used any government paid social service, or failed to pay their bills on time.
We should do like the UAE does (or used to do) with other visas like students, tourists, businessmen, etc. They make you have a sponsor to get a visa. They give you a slip of paper when you arrive that has to be turned in to get out of the country. If that paper isnt turned in by the expiration date, they arrest your sponsor, hold him in jail until you are found and deported, then they fine him.
They dont have an illegal alien problem. Nobody overstays his visa.
That's an interesting approach.
Those who are genuinely focused on this issue and not just trying to engineer GOP defeats for whatever reason could study at approach. The first step is to get people to understand that We Don't Have Enough Workers. Once that is accepted, people can look rationally at options.
Clearly one cannot reward illegal behavior, and a fine is certainly not a reward. I think most folks on here (those who are genuine) who demand a return to the border and "getting at the back of the line" don't understand that the processing of that line is going to have to accelerate so that it lasts only about 20 minutes. We have to have more working age people and southward the only economically available pool. Once it is understood that the line only lasts 20 minutes, the trip to the border seems a lot less important than paying back taxes and a fine.
The UAE approach you describe could allay concerns about cheating. Forgery of the visas could be made an enormous offense and that would be that.
Thanks for taking the time to read that and respond. One problem with the Bush/Kennedy/McCain/Hillary is the people who broke the law get to stay here and work here and get all the services here.
There are millions of people around the world who would love to come here as a legal alien with permission to work and access to our services. Many of them have been on lists for years waiting to come here. Many of them are living in far worse conditions than anyone in the Americas are living in.
I personally know a man from Uganda who waited 4 years for his papers to come through, and spent $2500.00 on legal fees and doctor reports etc. He is a legal alien now and applying to become an immigrant. Why should those who broke the law be rewarded by being put in the same category as he is in?
This isn't about race or what country they came from. Illegal Canadians should be sent home too. It's about what is right and about having a country of laws.
Sure we need immigrants. We murder far too many babies to maintain the population and work force. But we need legal immigrants who respect and obey the law. We dont need to reward criminals for their crimes.
You would sell out your country for 50K in Texico stock. I guess the price has gone up since judas's 30 pieces of silver. If the marxists running the illegal alien marches take over your going to find out that that money won't help you.
You worry about your P&L and when the country is gone I wonder if you realize that it didn't matter.
The oil company guys are going to end up just like the Enron guys, in jail.
The oil companies recent mergers put them in a position to do exactly what they are doing. The facts are they have been giving money to the enviormental movement (marxists) so that no drilling or building of another refinery would never happen. Great plan except that in the end the US would be destroyed. We are at WAR. War profiteers need to go to jail.
I hope that you money will keep you free.
I deal with facts, not conjecture and emotion.
You better spend your money now.
