The first reports I saw indicated that she admitted making the leak.
Maybe she did a 'flip-flop' and decided to ask Kerry to defend her for 'telling the truth'......LOL
I confessed to leaking secrets before I categorically denied it.
"Categorically deny" is a Communist catchphrase.
Your prayer was answered tonight! Tony Snow v. Helen Thomas smackdown at a presser near you soon.
Proper response for that character is ?Que? I know the one ? should be upside down but it's to hard to insert it.
bttt
Sure these two left wing haters of a strong America will be among the first of the lunatic left to back Mary McTraitor and try to picture her as a hero.
She flunked the tests and admitted to what she did.
Now the whores and pimps for the lunatic left, the lying and spinning mediots rush to portray her as a hero.

CIA agent fired for 'pattern of behavior'

Investigation 'not over yet,' officials say
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A U.S. official told CNN on Monday that the CIA officer fired for leaking classified information was accused of a "pattern of behavior," including multiple contacts with more than one reporter.
Sources also confirmed to CNN that the officer fired last Thursday is Mary O. McCarthy, who last worked in the CIA inspector general's office.
"It's not just about one story, it's a pattern of activity," the official said.
Officials said the investigation into leaking to Dana Priest of The Washington Post, and other journalists, is ongoing. "It is not over yet," said one.
McCarthy admitted to multiple unauthorized contacts with journalists after failing a polygraph test, one of "dozens" conducted at the CIA since January of personnel knowledgeable about compromised programs, sources said. Those who took polygraph tests included CIA Director Porter Goss and the agency's inspector general, John Helgerson, according to U.S. intelligence officials.
A congressional aide said that prior to the public revelation that a CIA employee had been fired, the intelligence committees were only told the person was a 61-year-old female in the inspector general's office.
CIA spokesman Paul Gimigliano re-affirmed on Monday that an agency official had been fired after acknowledging unauthorized contacts with the media and discussion of classified information with journalists.
It says here she acknowledged doing it..
Well, that settles it then.

The socialist/marxist/liberal media is the most destructive, relentless, and ruthless enemy of this Republic.

Mary McCarthy is out in the rough of a golf couse looking for the real leaker.
Belmont Club has an important entry with speculative comments:
"Mary McCarthy: 'I did not do it'"
http://www.fallbackbelmont.blogspot.com/
The comments are where much of the theorizing is laid out.
From the Malkin link, it looks like Porter Goss is doing a George Smiley. I hope to god he is as successful and finally roots out the "I am above the law" crowd.
This is great news. She lies, gets caught (failed polygraph), and then her lawyer tells her to deny everything. Sounds like this story has legs. Let's get a special prosecutor and start rooting out all these other career bureaucrats at the CIA who have been leaking, lets expose the relationship between them and the media. The chickens are coming home to roost. I only hope this gets major air play in the MSM, I won't hold my breath.
MSM will miss out on the story of the century because of their incessant hatred for George W, the troops, and the war on terror. They will continue to try to cover up all the relationships between the leakers and the DNC. While the bloggers and the internet do all the searching and putting this story together, old media will enhance its lack of credibility by its omission of facts. In the end, they will all be Dan Rathered, and I for one am looking forward to it.
