'Tangible proof' al-Qaida deploying nukes (Bombshell presentation)
WorldNetDaily ^ | 4/25/06 | WorldNetDaily.com

A terrorism symposium featuring leading experts will begin with presentation of "tangible proof" al-Qaida not only has developed an arsenal of tactical nuclear weapons but also has begun to deploy them for use in its jihad against the United States and Israel.

Paul L. Williams, author of "The Al Connection" and "The Dunces of Doomsday," will present his findings at the National Press Club in Washington at the conclusion of a public debate with Wall Street Journal correspondent Richard Miniter on al-Qaida's nuclear weaponry.

The debate, Friday at 10 a.m., will be moderated by Fred Barnes, executive editor of The Weekly Standard and regular contributor to the Fox News Channel. The public is invited to attend.

The organizers say the event is timely, "with increased anxiety over demands for a pullout from Iraq, the nuclear developments in Iran and North Korea, the failure of our government to secure the borders and our country's fledgling, incomprehensive effort at homeland security."

Epstein believes the majority of Americans disapprove of both the "cut-and-run policy" proposed by many leading Democrats and the "compassionate conservative" approach of the Bush administration, favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."

"I am convinced that the threat we are currently facing from radical Islam greatly surpasses that which was posed by the Third Reich," Epstein said.

Anyone interested in attending, Epstein added, should contact America's Truth Forum at its website or by calling 866-709-3474.

The event offers the following speakers (continued):

""Dirty bombs in 10 major cities could kill upwards of 30,000,000 Americans (mostly blue staters). If a dem balked at retaliation, I would shoot the MF myself! I promise!""

so one dirty bomb would kill 3,000,000 people???

""This would tempt either N. Korea, Russia, and China

China? If they destroyed the US who would buy their junk made bytheir 10m factory workers?

N. Korea's nukes don't have to fly when they can be driven across the border.

Still, you don't address the issue of

A)Where they'll come up with a nuclear bomb,
B)Where or how they'll hide it on our soil,
C)How they'll maintain it,
D)How they'll deliver it.

Everything else is just speculation based on theory, not evidence.

"...favoring instead a "firm and decisive military action with no apologies to Russia, China, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia or the United Nations."

What I've believed necessary all along. Military thinkers as Sun-Tzu, Machiavelli, and Clauswitz would be laughing their a$$es off at our contemporary views of warfare. Our politicos have their collective heads so far up their arses, I'd be surprised if they'll even hear the suitcase nukes go off!

Hope you have sun screen. Nukes are not that hard to get your hands on if you are pals with N. Korea. They can easily be driven across the border via eighteen wheeler, which BTW drive across the desert to a main highway every night from Mexico.

They don't have to be maintained, they can be driven to any and every major city, or destination of their choice and detonated.

It's not that hard to do. Before 9-11 you would have been protesting the likelihood of multiple terrorists taking over multiple commercial airliners and crashing them in New York and D.C. How smart is it to underestimate a determined enemy?

Yes, they do need to be maintained. Covert emplacement takes months of time; during that time, the tritium in the weapon is slowly decaying into helium, which is a neutron absorber. We had weapons tests that failed due to very small amounts of helium contamination in the "pit" (the weapon core). Tritium is extremely expensive (about $50,000 per gram), and nuclear weapons require several grams apiece. It's not readily available at Wal-Mart.

It's not that hard to do.

How many nuclear weapons have you personally detonated?

"AQ WILL do something it's not if, it's when. We must as a nation understand that at some point we are going to have to get our "hands dirty" and just do it."

AMEN. Bush Sr. also understood this as a CIA guy. It's a dirty business of taking out the trash but we live in a dirty world...

"Russia cant even manage what it has."

Who says? Check their economic numbers in the last two years. The spike in oil and natural gas are driving much profit into the Russian state and the reason they are confiscating formerly private owned oil & gas assets through bogus "tax evasion" suits. I would see a such a joint attack in several years, not today in any case.

"One wonders what the impact on Islam would be if their Holiest shrines located in their numerous "Holy Cities" were just erased? Wouldn't even really need nukes to do it. Would that give us sufficient leverage to play the MAD game again? Would a western strike at Mecca force the kind of Reformation that Islam so badly needs?"

Can't do MAD and proclaim publically now that we would do this, we would have a global war against all billion+ muslims, not just against Iran, Syrian and AQ crazy leadership. I imagine it would be considered if we were attacked in such a fashion, especially with public militant muslims parading around in the streets saying a mushroom cloud is coming...

Check their economic numbers in the last two years.

Are those numbers honest and accurate? Enron had great numbers right up to the final crash, after all.

If it were known for certain where, I'd hope the proper agencies would be at least aware of it. I'd guess at the former Soviet Union, Pakistan or some other "nuclear club" member state with individuals looking to make a fast buck and stick it in the eye of the US. As to "where".....perhaps we could ask the 19 9/11 hijackers who hid in plain sight where they'd stash it. Or, one of the estimated 11 million Mexican illegals. With enough money and dedicated fanatics, one or more could be "maintained" until needed. How they'd deliver it is anyone's guess. Perhaps, in a Ryder truck or a small private plane or on a pleasure craft in or near a NY harbor, or up the Potomac over Memorial Day.

Our borders are joke enough that getting just about anything across would be easy enough for the determined. It is possible the "evidence" is there, just as the "evidence" for what what became 9/11 was there.

You said -- "I would love to go to this. Hopefully some of our DC FReepers will attend and give us a report."

They will have the sessions recorded. I wrote to them and asked if they would. I was asking for CDs of the sessions. They indicated that they would be available. That might be your answer.

You said -- "The response to this would be multiple air bursts (ie. one thousand times larger than the tac nukes) over Pakistan, North Korea and anyone else even suspected of supplying the materials to Al-Qaeda. It would be the end of the world as we know it. The death toll would be over one hundred million."

Well, I understand Russian supplied the suitcase nukes. So, what does the U.S. do?? -- nuke Russia? I don't think so. They've still got a bunch of missiles pointed at the U.S.

And also, what would North Korea and Pakistan and any other countries have to do with al-Qaida bringing nukes into this country?

Besides that, the Russians did not officially supply al-Qaida, as it was on the black market.

There is no one to strike back against -- in terms of a country.

Sorry..., we're stuck on that one...

You said -- "General Tommy Franks is on record as stating that in the event of a WMD attack on the United States by terrorists, that the most likely and immediate result would be an imposition of martial law, suspension of the Constitution, and we would have a military government for the duration."

So.., "for the duration".... Europe had a "hundred years war". Hmmm..., could be that long...

You said -- "It is time to reinstate MAD...mutually assured destruction..."

That was a deterrent against another so-called "civilized nation" (although despotic and authoritarian).

In this case, with "stateless terrorists" -- there is no deterrent value. The value of the "MAD Doctrine" was the *deterrence*. If no deterrence -- it's of no value.

In this case, there is no deterrence.

Osama bin Laden would simply be laughing his head off, at whomever we struck at (if we were that stupid). It would play into his hands for having a "religious war" against "Islam". That's what he's creating.

In my thinking, we should have a religious war -- but against the religion and not against the people. Destroy the religion completely, along with all its symbols and schools and clerics (that teach this evil doctrine). Don't destroy the people who may be the ones who have been enslaved all these centuries and for generations of their own families. Destroy the religion.

Star Traveler
