U.S. Firms Say Mexican 'Nothing Gringo' Boycott Could Backfire

MEXICO CITY — U.S. lobbyists lashed out Wednesday at the Mexican "Nothing Gringo" campaign timed for May 1 to coincide with the "Day Without Immigrants" boycott in the United States.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico said organizers are risking a backlash and foolishly targeting some of their best allies, since U.S. corporations have actively lobbied the U.S. Congress for immigration reform including legalization for many of the estimated 11 million undocumented migrants.

CountryWatch: Mexico

Mexicans' refusal to "buy American" on May 1 could further polarize the debate and make reform supporters seem anti-American at the very moment that lobbyists are trying to persuade lawmakers in Washington to pass a bill that would benefit migrants, worries Larry Rubin, the chamber's president.

"This is like shooting oneself in the foot," Rubin said. "U.S. companies have been the first to lobby, launching a huge lobbying effort for immigration reform. ... Why hurt something that is helping you?"

Migrants and their supporters in the United States are being encouraged to skip work and school and not spend money for one day to demonstrate the migrants' importance to the U.S. economy.

South of the border, Mexicans are targeting American stores and chain restaurants — "That means no Dunkin' Donuts, no McDonald's, Burger King, Starbucks, Sears, Krispy Kreme or Wal-Mart," reads one e-mail making the rounds.

But even activists are confused about which companies are U.S.-owned. Sears is cited by boycott organizers, despite the fact that Sears' Mexico stores were bought by Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim in 1997. And few organizers mention Vips — the chain of ubiquitous Mexican diners — even though they are owned by Wal-Mart Stores Inc.

A quarter of Mexico's formal private-sector jobs with regular pay are provided by U.S. firms, according to the chamber, including Walmex, the Mexican Wal-Mart....

which among these is the decapitation of three Mexican undocumented children in Baltimore, Maryland,

Are we sure Democrats didn't write this? Commit the crime and blame the other side?

I thought some burned coyotes did this beheading.

That's the spirit! Myself, I have to work so I can "pay the taxes NON-AMERICAN ILLEGALS DON'T PAY." I remember the days when freeloaders were referred to as leeches. Now they're "undocumented immigrants".

I went into a Taco Bell in Los Angeles last week. They are having a contest. "El Presidente". The winner gets 100,000 PESOS. Not dollars mind you. But Pesos. WTF do I need pesos for? This America I have no effin use for pesos. I left. I was gonna complain to the manager, hell, any employee for that matter, but I didnt see the point as they didnt have a command of the English language.

Interesting... I had no idea how much some Mexicans hated Jews. What on Earth have the Jews done to them? The only connection I've made so far is their apparently overwhelming support for Arabs and Muslims.

Of course including Taco Bells. Have been boycotting them since I got in the US, I think. Together with salt and pepper shakers they should keep Zantac on every table.

The word gringo is an offensive term for a foreigner. Wouldn't that make illegals 'gringos' here?

Mexicans are very racist, as are some of the pro-criminal posters here. Mexico even has a racist postage stamp.

We had these 3 in Texas:

Father says he beheaded children because they were evil
07:22 AM CDT on Wednesday, October 22, 2003

Associated Press

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1005879/posts

BROWNSVILLE, Texas - A father on trial in the slayings of his three children said he decapitated his kids because they had become evil after being possessed by the soul of his grandmother.

John Allen Rubio is charged with capital murder in the deaths of 3-year-old Julissa Quezada, 1-year-old John Esthefan and 2-month-old Mary Jane Rubio.

"My daughter started to speak like my grandmother who had passed away. ... She told me that she had taken Julissa's soul," Rubio, 23, said in a statement to police a day after the children's bodies were found. "Julissa started to laugh and was making growls at me. ... My wife told me to kill the children because they were evil."

The children were killed March 11 with the help of Angela Camacho, a Mexican citizen who is his common-law wife. Two of the children were assumed to be the couple's. The oldest was Camacho's child....

At least now we hear it from the horse's mouth.

Mexicans have a looooong history of Jew hatred, but the Ay-rab oil money has helped pay for its 'net dissemination.

I read this in one of the Mexican links. If it is true what they say, it probably is morally reprehensible. However, I'm no expert in Mexican history so I cannot verify it, and will not make a judgement.

"The USA has a shameful history in its dealings with Mexico and with its citizens that reside in Mexico's former territories . The US waged a criminal war of conquest and confiscated over two thirds of Mexico's territory. It invaded Mexico through Veracruz and marched all the way to Mexico City (Tenochtitlan) where at "El Castillo de Chapultepec", the Mexican-American War's final battle, they massacred six teenage Mexican military cadets (Los Niños Heroes). In front of "El Castillo de Chapultepec" the invading US forces then "hung" the members of the Batallon San Patricio (St. Patrick's Battalion) who helped defend Chapultepec. St. Patrick's Battalion consisted of Irish fighters, who after realizing the shameful nature of the US war, decides to desert the US Army and fight on Mexico's side. After the Mexican-American War, Mexicans in Mexico's former territories lost their land. Vast "Ranchos" were taken by hordes of Anglos who migrated during the Gold Rush of 1949. Unscrupulous Gringos and Jews then learned to exploit Mexican labor. They, with the assistance of the federal government, allowed Mexican workers to migrate to the US when needed but deported them when they were no longer useful. That is one reason why 350,000 Mexicans were deported during "The Great Depression". During Wold War II through the Korean War there was a labor shortage and Mexican workers were again allowed to migrate through the Bracero Program. Soon after the Korean War, the US government instituted "Operation Wetback" and 1,300,00 Mexicans were again deported back to Mexico. This "Bienvenidos" and then "Hasta la Vista" US policy must stop."

<< A quarter of Mexico's formal private-sector jobs with regular pay are provided by U.S. firms ... >>

These guys are ready-made "Democrats."

What goose, Gringo?

Egg? What Golden Egg?

Hesperophobia, as is AIDS for its pathetic poor pansy pack, is the only "inspiration" and weapon of first choice of its gang.

And its worst enemy.
