Local Fox News in Los Angeles, Channel 11, had an incredible exchange in a segment with John and Ken. J & K were chastizing the press for not showing the other side about all the costs of illegal aliens.
There was a difference of opinion between FOX personnel and John and Ken about the effect of the boycott.
And then there was an amazing statement, actually a monologue for news reporter Tony Valdez. Rather than posing a question to John and Ken, he launched into the whole Reconquista argument, talking about Manifest Destiny and U.S. invasion of Mexico in 1846. He talked about how this country took this part of the world by force and how they do that in Iraq and Iran.
And then this news reporter, news reporter mind you, said, "You took this country. You killed people to take this country for yourselves."
Fox 11 needs to hear from us.
I'll look for it...
Next thing you know Arabs from every neighboring country who couldn't make it where they were or weren't wanted moved in and started demanding to have a piece of the pie. Out of thin air they claimed it was really their land and they had been there first.
It's not the land it's the money. The truly galling thing is our own homegrown Marxists will stand up and defend this theivery.
They heard from me within 5 minutes, they'll hear again come morning.
I thought Smartass just said Dana Rohrbacher was on CNN Larry King Live. Did you see what post I was responding to?
Now I know where the rock throwers in Santa Ana got their moves from.
Egads!
Great parallel! Or, it's not the land, it's the prosperity.
I went to a local taqueria for some tacos today and noticed that they were closed in order to support the invasion of illegals to the US. Now that they will no longer get my business, I am wondering if the larger Mexican restaurant chains like Azteca were also closed?
OK< the Fox 11 10PM newscast just did their boycott coverage and mentioned John & Ken, and even replayed a part of their exchange with Beard and Devine... but NO mention of Tony Valdez going up against John & Ken! Another point to call them on tomorrow.
Sounds like an interesting flick - might have to get the DVD.
I don't see much difference apart from the level of threats delivered. We'll see if they can stick to peaceful demonstrations when they see just how slow and deceitful our Congress can be.
It hasn't really even started. The 20+ million or so that have broken into our front yard are just starting to wake up and flex their muscle - they are certainly getting the attention of our sound-asleep Senators. Our only current hope is the House will not stand still for Amenesty, Shamnesty, or Shamnesty Lite this session. How could this have gone on for so many years? Now the 20+ million feel that we have "let them come in" so they deserve full bennies including citizenship. I mean comon we "gave" them free medical, in-state tuition for college, they are allowed to drive without license or insurance, give them food stamps, etc. etc. If I were them I would also be fighting mad if someone suggested I should now become a felon, or worse yet have me deported. After all American business welcomes them with open arms. I think it is far to late to do anything about it. We need a "Manhattan" style to build the full southern border fence - work on a 24 hour basis, pay whatever it costs. Until it is completed and we stem the flow, bring back the military from Japan and Germany and station them on the souther border. Anyone not see this as an enemy to our culture?
Hire illegals to build the wall that the American government won't build.
"I'll move back to the Garden of Eden....."
Yes, we had a war with Mexico - AND WE WON! Then, WE PAID the Mexican govt for the property - WE BOUGHT IT!
But .. property ownership isn't what it used to be.

Yeah, they took the country, and killed the people they found there.
Next question!
Our PBS station had the American Experience episode on the Alamo on tonight. It was from the standpoint of the contributions of Jose Antonio Navarro, and included a lot of history leading up to the slaughter at the Alamo. Navarro and Tejano contributions to independence were emphasized. I found it interesting...and interesting timing.
How about the original habitants of Mexico who are Indians. They are the greater population of Mexico still today, but are kept pretty much under the gun as slave labor for Mexico.
They are racist as well, not only do only the people who have Spanish in them get to have power in that country, but almost all of their entertainers are NOT DARK skinned Mexicans.
They have their own racism issues.
They kill people at their southern border as their border policy. Should we adopt that policy?
