Nancy Pelosi, Our first female President?

Nancy Pelosi could beat Hillary to the punch as first woman President of the U.S.

Here is a possible scenario:

1. Democrats gain control of U.S. House of Representatives in November 2006. Nancy Pelosi becomes Speaker, third in line for the Presidency.

2. Democrat-controlled House of Representatives impeaches Bush. Bush leaves office. Cheney becomes President.

3. Democrats in Congress stall in approving Cheney's choice for VP. Pelosi is second in line.

4. Cheney is removed from office before his successor can be approved. Nancy Pelosi becomes President.

What is the likelihood of this happening, and how can we insure that it doesn't?

Did they teach American Government at the school you attended. No? Don't feel bad, 90% of today's public school students don't know anything about it either.

It takes time to impeach. Then there is a trial. Then to not confirm Cheney takes more time. Can't happen in two years time as well as have a presidential election year.
Not to mention the delays the repubs would induce.

If the Democrats have more than 220 seats after January 2007, there is no possibility whatsoever that Mrs. Pelosi will not be replaced by a real politician.

She is a cartoon, useful to a powerless and somewhat crazed minority. She will never, never have a chance to get a real job like Speaker of the House.

As long as there are willing to vote against republicans just to show their anger of immigration it could happen.

Just think about a dual impeachment as Iran nukes Israel....

or Europe....

or Us.

Don't place all the blame on those of us who do not want illegals imported into this country to support the multiculturism of Globalism for the Republican Senate possibly losing.

According to all who advocate the demise of this Nation by allowing open borders tell us we are in the minority so I guess our little old votes wouldn't matter now anyway would it?

The politicians are not concerned with the anti-illegal voters and are not worried about losing those "few" votes so why blame us? They have bigger fish to fry or votes to get they are getting the hispanic voters to pick up the slack for the anti-illegals protest votes so NOT TO WORRY!

There is no mood in the country to impeach President Bush and if the Democrats tried they would only fail and ensure they lose future elections from the blowback.

You think Hillary is gonna allow that to happen?

Furthermore, i thought the rumor was that the members of her own party aren't happy with her performance in her current capacity.

I will blame them if it is shown their protest votes caused The republican party to lose control of the house and senate.

They will have accomplished what they want to do.

Especially if Democrats almost immediately go for impeachment as they have promised to do.

I have a better solution to the illegal immigrant problem, annex Mexico by force.

Even if Bush were impeached, he would have to be convicted to be removed from office. Very unlikely that he would be convicted.

The likelihood is 100%.

It will come to pass.

With certainty and inevitability.

Pelsoi: What, Us Impeach?

Nancy Pelosi has backpedaled on her coy remarks about the possibility of impeaching George Bush......If Pelosi gains the speaker's gavel, you can bet that anything dug up by the Democrats, no matter how insubstantial, will provide Pelosi with the excuse she needs to rationalize away her new-found reluctance on impeachment. If she hoped to sneak in under the radar, with the press and the blogosphere distracted by the five-month old NSA story, she may wish she had kept her mouth shut.  Comments (12)  "The angry Left has only two modes: bottled-up bitterness for Bush, or naked bitterness for Bush."

I think Jane Fonda will be the first. Heck, John Kerry was just a poor man's Jane and the 'rats only went with him because Jane wasn't on the ballot.
