Capitol police in Washington, D.C., investigating U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy’s early-morning car wreck have been told by witnesses that the Rhode Island congressman was at a Capitol Hill bar before the crash, the Herald has learned.
A source close to the probe said witnesses have told detectives that Kennedy was at the Hawk & Dove before he slammed his Ford Mustang into a security barrier near the U.S. Capitol. The source added that cops are continuing to seek evidence to confirm that Kennedy was at the watering hole.

Unfortunately, there could be video of Kennedy getting tanked and going out and intentionally plowing down 25 people, and he'd still avoid arrest and be reelected in a landslide.
Yeah I'm sure the cops are searching for evidence. Evidence like a breathalizer. There working day and night looking for evidence.
So let me get this straight, Patches says he didn't have anything to drink and was in bed on sleeping medication. Facts start coming out that he WAS indeed drinking, most likely drunk and the DBM yawns?!?
The level of hypocricy and the extent of the liberal bias never ceases to amaze me. Think for just one minute if this was a Republican and what the coverage would be.
At east no one suffocated in an underwater air bubble. The road apple didn't fall far from the horse's posterior..

We'll need videotape.
We'll need DNA evidence.
We will gather at the courthouse for many months, with arguments back and forth.
And in the end, if the evidence is overwhelming, and beyond a reasonable doubt ...
we might arrest the guy.
But we knew that Kennedy was a damn liar didn't we?
