I took a basic arabic class once, but it's been a while. I'll look at it and try to get back to you.

Also, keep in mind that arabic and farsi are phonetic (sp). That means even if I can read and pronounce the word I can't really tell you what it means.

I've learned a little conversational Arabic. I'm looking at my Arabic alphabet sheet and don't see those characters.

The first character is clearly a taa. There are no short vowels, so getting the pronunciation right is problematic at best. The second character, is a kaaf *I think*. It looks like a waaw is attached to it followed by a faa. There appears to be a short vowel (hamza) above the kaaf. My best guess, and it's likely wrong, is that the first word is roughly pronounced "t-kou-f". I have no idea what it means.

I've forgotten so much of what I'd learned. It's frustrating.
