A federal appeals court in California has ruled that public schools can require children to learn about religion...as long as the religion is Islam.

Investors Business Daily reports that the notorious Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has ruled the state can require students to participate in "Muslim role-playing exercises." The exercises include:

Reciting aloud Muslim prayers that begin with "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful . . . ."

Memorizing the Muslim profession of faith: "Allah is the only true God and Muhammad is his messenger."

Chanting "Praise be to Allah" in response to teacher prompts.

Professing as "true" the Muslim belief that "The Holy Quran is God's word."

Giving up candy and TV to demonstrate Ramadan, the Muslim holy month of fasting.

Designing prayer rugs, taking an Arabic name and essentially "becoming a Muslim" for two full weeks.

The article also notes that:

In the California course on world religions, Christianity is not presented equally. It's covered in just two days and doesn't involve kids in any role-playing activities. But kids do get a good dose of skepticism about the Christian faith, including a biting history of its persecution of other peoples. In contrast, Islam gets a pass from critical review.

Based on the above, parents of some of the students sued, claiming that the public schools were unconstitutionally promoting religion, in violation of the First Amendment.

The court disagreed, however, ruling that the state was teaching another "culture."

The Ninth Circuit is widely considered "the nation's most liberal and oft-reversed federal court."

We can only hope this case is taken to the U.S. Supreme Court and overruled also.

...and so Islam has begun to attack the U.S. from the inside with teaching our children that Islam is THE faith and that Christianity is wrong.

Anyone who says that automatically converts to Islam, even if tricked into saying it, and there no escape loophole. Subject to the death penalty for "apostasy" under sharia.

OK let me try and figure this out:

1st Amendment:
Congress Shall Pass no law to establish a Religion, or limit the free exercises there of.

Somehow, from the above, liberals have interpreted that Christian's Right should be trampled and we should brainwash our children with the chanting of the Koran?

Are they going to teach our children Arabic so they can understand the Koran in it's original text? What is next? How about Wahabism? Or maybe a Taliban terrorist training camp?

The 9th Circuit is going to get overturned again. They're easily the most over-turned court in the land, and this one seems fairly obvious.

If there is any chance that the supreme court might uphold this, we need to know that. The sooner the better.

The war on terror is covering up the ISLAM CREEP. Just like the Lewinsky episode covered up the Clinton sell out to China.

ISLAM advocates installing "Sharia Law" which calls for converting everyone to Islam. Those who cannot be converted are to be destroyed.

It appears to me that practicing Islam is against the law. We should put a stop to the spread of Islam.

Unless we can somehow show that Islam not a religion, we have to tolerate it (legally at least) like any other valid religion. The only way to defend ourselves against it is to not allow it to become favored over other religions in our laws and courts.
