Business lobby money will dry up for his 2008 pres. run if he fails. He's mighty angry.

I guess I've been a useless lump since 1978. No one needs computers anyway.

hahaha Rep. Pence accuses Hannity of fillibustering.
Doesn't sound like Pence will be getting Hannity's support for some 'future' purpose.

Am I the only one who thinks Sessions is the only one who has taken time to read and understand the proposed bill?
To: truthkeeper
It would increase taxes, increase expenditures and decrease revenues. This ain't rocket science, folks. I'd love for this turkey to be killed because it violated federal budget caps.

Hagel, McCain, Kennedy, and Specter are calling this Point of Order a poison pill that would defeat the entire bill if passed. They seem pretty nervous about its passage. I guess it would be even too much to hope that this would bring it down, huh?
I know, silly me.

Thanks for the thread. I'll help get me caught up...
And thank goodness for a few Sen. like Sessions, et. al, who've got some common sense!

Well, they're actually voting now on a Motion to Waive the Budget Act ("Temporarily sets aside a specific part of the Budget Act," according to the subtext on the television screen.)
Well, well...shine the light. This should be rich.

Now our hard-earned money taken by taxes is called a "poison pill". LOL.

3/5ths of the Senate needs to vote in the affirmative in order to waive the Budget Act so they can proceed with The Thing That Would Not Die.
I'm on the edge of my seat here...

It certainly appears that way. If most people did their jobs like Congress, they'd be fired.

Don't expect it to be a front pager on MSM. Might awaken the natives.

To: truthkeeper
I don't know why most wouldn't vote for it. It's the easiest out of all. Go back to Bush and ask him how to pay for it. LOL.

Sorry, I meant "against" it, the move to "waive" budget concerns.

I'm trying to follow these votes. So far 37-15 in favor.
Gee what a surprise. The total sellout continues.

Is the vote over or are the pols still bargaining with the lobbyists on the amount of their bribes?
It's got to cost more now. If they vote to waive budget concerns they will be tarred with a big spender label. I bet they didn't anticipate that.
