GWB was attuned to the Mexican population as Texas governor, and sees nothing unusual about it. In those parts, and the rest of the SW, dealing with Mexicans is an integral part of the workday, no matter what you do for a living.

Western union Moneygrams sent from the US to Mexican residents by Mexican illegals represent something like 33% of Mexico's gross per capita income.

On John and Ken's radio show (KFI 640 AM L.A.) Thursday they had a former Fox campaigner from Mexico City telling among other things that the Mexican banking system takes up to 40% of these deposits.

The photo is the real deal. From the Washington Times:

US President George W. Bush pretends to lose his balance as he and Mexico's President Vicente Fox walk the steps of an ancient Mayan Pyramid yesterday.

It is amazing the Vicente Fox is refusing to "uplift" his poor by ending entrenched governmental monopolies and corruption. He is also refuses to spend money on education and health care which are the two determining factors for upward social mobility. Currently 59 million Mexicans live in absolute poverty

I printed out Talents floor speech even before I read your post.

He's good. You have motivated me to match your donation to him.

Now if we could find about 230 more like him....
