Reuters has stopped by Little Green Football blog already 16 times today, How many more death threats did they leave.

I thought LGF was down when I couldn't hit it for a while just now. When this story originally ran in May there was a denial of service attack that was traced credibly back to folks working for the Muslim Council of Britain.

Todays problems, however, seems simply a case of too much success.

Low Bandwidth LGF Enabled

So many people are trying to get in to Little Green Footballs this morning that our doors are starting to get jammed with HTTP requests. In English, this means it’s going to be a little slow around here for a bit. One web server can only do so much, even on a dedicated box.

In the meantime, I’ve disabled a lot of the bandwidth/resource gobbling features on the main page (title logo and a bunch of other things) to try to open the doors a bit wider.
