I think Billboard releases their new charts tomorrow. I really think they pushed the release date back from May 16th to the 23rd so they wouldn't have to compete with the Red Hot Chili Pepper's new album.
I don't think there's any big albums coming out by anyone else the next couple of weeks, so there is a chance they will be high on the charts for a few weeks at least. But I'm not sure if that will translate to high sales.
Of course, if the Wreckers (same release date) debut at #1, I will laugh my tail off at the Chicks.
In New Mexico, they had Dixie Chicks on there outside sign saying, was 14.99, now 9.99
That speaks clearly to me. Also, I see Starbucks is promoting it at their check out stands.....
I haven't seen Starbucks promoting it in my area and if they do, I will have a few words to say.
They debuted on VH1 at #6 over the weekend.
It was originally pushed back from April so they wouldnt have to compete with TOby and Rascal Flats. The chick have never had a problem with things like "payola".
The chicks dont have a problem with organized campaigns as long as those campaigns are in their favor. As soon as someone organizes a campaing AGAINST them, they claim their rights have been violated and they start throwing angry naked tantrums and writing obscenities on their bodies and degenerating into children calling others names etc. They have always held up others to standard they themselves do not live by.

I don't know because my daughter keeps track of VH1. Will see if I can find out.
Went to VH1.com and find they are #5, 6 and 7 for top artist, top video, top album. (not necessarily in that order)
Two of the stations for DC are not C/W.
My point in posting was that Lubbock is Natalie Maines' hometown and no station was listed. No one here will play the Ditzy Twits!:-)

Again it's likened to preaching to the choir. They all have a ready and eager audience in so many parts of the world for this type of diatribe. Pronouncements, such as attributed to the DC, are greeted with growing applause.
The foreign MSM is so similar to own our home bred MSM...elitist left, all knowing what's the best for the rest of 'us'. The Bush administration has been criticized daily in the foreign MSM. The foreign populace is molded into this anti conservative mindset.
I'm west valley. Bruce is my companion for the morning commute, Rush is at lunch, and Crummy for the ride home. Bruce makes me laugh a lot. It's a great way to start the day.
1- Natalie is pulling a Hillary. Accusing her opponents of her behaviour. talking about the "hate". Her hateful, typical-liberal, spewing is the source of her problem. She is no victim. There isn't "hatred" on the right against her, but rather apathy towards wanting to listen or buy anything of theirs. There are so many good bands out there, popular and not-so-popular, why waste your time and money on those that hate the president.
One thing I don't get. Natalie spews hatred towards Toby Keith all the time. Why??? One reason is she doesn't like "Courtesy of the Red, White & Blue".
I've thought about it as I've listened to that song many times. There are reasonably only two kinds of people that don't like that song: (1) Terroists and (2) People that like boots up their @$$.
