I'm having lunch w/ President and First Lady on Tuesday!

Well my good friends George and Laura have yet to see the movie United 93. To see it they have invited 2 people from each of the families of those that died on 9/11 aboard Flight 93. After a late lunch/early dinner with the President and First Lady but only one of us will be able to view the movie w/ them.

Since my mother has not seen it yet - but is ready to now - she will go in with them to view it...and I will get an up close and personal tour of the White House.

This, on the heels of Memorial Day, should be amazing. It's going to be heavy-duty on my mother but I think she'll handle it well....fingers crossed.

For anyone who has not seen it please do - it is amazing. You'll walk out having gone through every emotion possible in about 90 minutes...and you'll leave knowing full well why we are fighting.

I had to look twice in the store. "Flight 93" is the A&E made for TV version that wasn't bad at all. I may buy it on DVD anyway.

On another similar subject, my advice to all is do not go the the IMDB ( Internet Movie Database ) message boards to discuss this and other similar movies. It's like DUmmieland deluxe over there. The admin moderators there allow every nutbar conspiracy theory about Sept 11 on the United 93 board to stay posted. Heaven forbid that they discuss only the movie. If you refute any of it with facts, your post only lasts a few hours or days. Leftist drivel stays posted almost forever. The boards aren't too bad for discussing general movies and shows, although libs try to throw their tinfoil crap on the many innocent shows.

One poster there tries to get everyone to watch "Loose Change", a real whackjob movie. He contantly posts links to it. Any other place it's called thread bombing, there the admin loves it.
